How Do You Roll?

I am 50,
I started smoking as a late bloomer at 17, but I dove in Big time.

I haven't stopped since!
I got so used to rolling I perfected the Cowboy one hand roll.

I learned to roll Cones with two papers, or what I called Bed Sheets( big papers)

I learned to roll one under the table out of sight.

I rolled with A bill, I rolled ounces up at a time.
I would pack a cigarette box with Joints and go out.
1 oz is 56 half gr. joints
or
40 .70 gr joints, that's the way I roll, a perfect fit in a cigarette pack.

I have arthritis and I was losing my ability to roll till I got the machine in the picture.
It was a hand me down from a friend and I can roll again, Perfect joints all day long
.7 joints.
Just grind, weigh and roll !

So How Do You Roll?

In the UK we predominantly roll with king skins. Partly because we predominantly roll with tobacco included, meaning single skins are just pointless and sticking two together is equally pointless given the prevelance of king skins.

Grinder + Hand Roll.

I always hear about people being to roll one handed. How the hell does that work?

I skin up so fast I get paper cuts.
Ha. I'm the opposite. I go into my zen place as some people might say. Like to do it nice and calmly, make it look as perfect as possible :-D form over function lol. Still more function than kurois joints though, she is a master of sideburn.

I use scissors and a bowl for the tobacco which is slight and then a grinder for the weed. All mixed up and quickly cut together, no side burns. I find it quicker this way. I don't have time to take as I smoke took much, always in the go etc.

I have been known to twist a loggerhead once in a while :bigjoint:. My preferred method is my little one hitter when I am out and about. I also have a few pieces of glass. I have a deep appreciation for that ever important after work bong rip. bongsmilie

Just have to be a bit more careful nowadays, it is much easier to relocate a lung after all these years of blazing. :eyesmoke:

Many reasons.

1. Its just the cultural method
2. Weed is expensive in the UK, and quite often tiny bags, and mediocre quality
3. A lot of smokers I know including myself find we actually prefer the taste and the high from the mix.

Personally, I can't stand joints, I like spliffs. I spent 100 odd on a roof bong, bought one of fdds pipes, bought a volcano, I never use them, nothing is as pleasurable as a spliff :-) even before I was a tobacco smoker. I'll take a spliff over a joint any day of the week :-) little joint, bong, pipe, I find it like drinking shots. I very much prefer the drawn out practice if smoking a big spliff. To me the pleasure of the smoke is almost more important than the high.

The downside is that it does often lead to an addiction to nicotine as a side effect, so long as you have a steady supply of weed it fine, but when you are forced to stop, well for me, I suddenly found cigarettes rather appealing.

Oook I see I see. In the states we just stuff the weed in a cigar wrap...lol that's as far as I go with tobacco and dope.

Exactly, in the UK we rarely do that, we consider it a novelty but also a waste. Folk just do things differently :-) still want to try the Indian(?) Method of rolling your joints in tobacco leaves.

I prefer a pipe or bongs these days but yeah like you, many years ago joints was the way to go, but quit tobacco smoking put an end to my joints, just love those British Spliffs ....lol
