How do you know when to flower?

I have been vegging my plants sense early november... and now i think it's time to flower...how tall are they suposed to be? and how do i know it's time?
 
its all up to you and how much space you have and how big you want them. you can turn them on 12/12 anytime from the day they sprout
 
yea if u have the space for like a 7 to 8 foot then vegg it untill they show there sex witch u let them mature with time. but if u dont have too much space like my self then (if u have room for a 4 or 5 foot plant) flower when the plant is 18 inches tall. but if u dont have that much space at all then u might wanna go 12/12 from seed

They will flower. Sometimes it takes a little longer if you do it early but within 2 weeks they will start. I veg my mother for 3 months and new the sex. When I flowered the clones I had little hairy buds in a week.

i wont fuk up my plant if i do it. or should i wait till it shows flowers
 
i have a very tall play it's already maybe a foot talle like the others are maybe 8 inches tall i'm thinking that one will be a male sense it has been faster growing and bigger than the rest
 
I'm gonna switch them to flowering tomorrow morning ,.. the lights will be out for 12 hours and start from there... i bought the new lights tonight. should i start new seeds or wait a bit... how long do they flower for.. the average that is

It won't hurt them. Like some one else said you can go 12/12 from seed if you want.

The min flower time will be 8 weeks. It depends on strain though. It could be 15 weeks.
