1200 clones. 1997.
I had a friends uncle, who was 70, I was 39, and he lived 150 miles away in Lincoln County, Kentucky, and owned a 2000 acre cattle farm, of which he wasnt raising cattle anymore. Ive known his niece and nephew, since grade school, and he was trying to grow some weed on his farm, and didnt know how to tell male, from female, so he came up to my small city, and I met him, and we went to his farm, and I showed him.
We hit it off right away, as he also used to ive in California from the 60s-80s, and used to bring weed back here, and sell Pottery as a side, when he was actually bringing in large amounts of weed, and using the desery Southwest Pottery gig, as a front. And I used to get weed from him, through his niece and nephew, but at that time, i never met him.
After I showed him how to sex plants, we got to talking, and I mentioned if we had somewhere to do it, I could start early, and make all kinds of Females/Clones, and put on his farm, and not worry about males.
So ended up he rented a house in my city, and bouth all the needed equipment, paid the bills, and my job was to live there, and grow mother plants, and make clones. But I also had a room dedicated to flowering some of the mothers I had. That room had 2x 1000w Halide.
In 2 upstairs rooms I had a kiddie swimming pool, and in another room, I used gutters, and bubblers to float clones, with styrofoam.
I used small dentist cups, worm castings, and some other stuff, its been so long I cant remember. I watered the pool by pouring water in the pool, and having small holes in the bottom of the cups, to get moisture from the bottom up.
Also, in the basement, I had created a grow space using pallets as the flooring, 12in ta x 15ft long boards for the sides, plastic bottom, peat based bedium. It was 15 x 15, and had 8x 1000w Halides. Had 170 plants, in rows.-Sea of Green, in a bed.
So, I gave him 500 clones, to put on the farm. He got caught. Ratted me out, and they came and found about 750 more. Ended up, I got charged for MANUFACTURING ALL OF THEM.
I ended up pleading guilty to Mandatory Minimum 10-LFE + 3-5 MILLION $$ Fine, which was waived. Ended up doing almost 8 years locked up, and 5 years supervised release.
He got off, and served no jail time.
