How do I set this timer?

Hey guys how do I set this timer? I want it running for 18 hours. So this is how I currently have it set up. It is set to the for timer. And the pins are set down between 12 am and 6 am. This is when I want them off. And the dial is set to 3 pm because that was current time when I set the timer. So from6 am to to 12 am all the pins are down. From 12 am to 6 am all the pins are up for the timer to go off. Is this correct? Having hard time figuring it out. Please help

Read the instructions? Play with it to figure it out? It looks pretty straight forward

I just got one like this. Basically turn the dial to what time it currently is. Then push down the side pieces when you want the light on and keep them pulled up when you want them off. It should be in the instructions

So I set the dial at 12 am an set it timer mode. Between 12 and 6 I set the pins up and between us and 12 again I pushed in pins. How come it did not turn on at 6 am?

So I got a digital timer. Problem solved
