The Social Democrat Party of Germany eventually became the Nazi Party. Yes they were fascists, but the name they operated under was the Social Democratic Party.

Odd, your argument is they weren't socialists because they called themselves The National Socialist Party. I guess you'll claim the National Organization of Women are all men next.
I did err when I said they killed off the Socialist Party. It was the Communist party they murdered. They infringed on their voter base.

Considering liberal political tactics, "pogrom" would be the correct term. Haven't Socialists consistently murdered their opposition by the millions?
