That's a lot of questions!
Which ones could have gone longer? Hmm... Perhaps all 14 of the remaining ones.
Most of them look pretty ready but when I scope the trich's, they aren't quite there.
Frost level being on par or not. I guess this is very subjective, yes?
I don't seem to have a problem with resin falling off during dry trimming because I keep humidity nice and high. I don't let flowers dry in a super arid environment. If possible, I aim for 60% to 65% RH the entire dry cycle and I let it happen really slowly.
Right now I'm still in winter so my conditions are less than ideal. My ambient air temps are only 55F. I try and oscillate my RH between 50% and 60%. The goal is to prolong the hang dry as long as possible. My target is 8 days for the smaller flowers and 9 or 10 days for the larger more dense ones.
I'm experimenting with a pre-cure that involves breaking the plant down, trimming it thoroughly and placing the flower into pizza boxes on top of parchment paper in the same environment for 2 to 3 days. And into jars after that. I'm not really interested in burping jars several times a day but rather a couple of times a week for 1 week and then let them do their thing.
If you dry in a nice humid environment, then you never need to let them "sweat it out". My 2 cents, for what it's worth.
