Hortilux bulbs running on digital ballasts?

So I just read somewhere that my nextgen 600/400 switchable ballast may not be good for my hortilux bulbs. I've been running the MH for about 3 weeks now w/no problems. If these things are only going to last for half their rating, I'm going back to the hydro store that sold me this setup as a kit, and request proper bulbs. These damn things ran me $120 for each bulb. Is there anybody that has proven this either right or wrong? Is it something they may have fixed recently? I only bought my gear a month ago.

Thanks!

I got them cause they were the best. But if they are not meant to be run on digi, I would rather have a bulb meant for digi.

imo there are no bulbs that are digital specific. I would consider this an industry scam. I have run hortilux on nextgens for a year so far and have had no problems with the bulbs. Another thing, $120/bulb is ridonkculous. Look around on the internet and you will find them for half that price. GL

u could use lucalox lamps. just as good and cheaper. anything that involves marijuana is overpriced cause everyone knows hortilux buyers are dope growers, same with head shops, everything is expensive.
