Horrible deficiencies or lock out?

I'm only 5 grows in and never have dealt with either or bugs thankfully. I use Ro water and advanced nutrients ph perfect coco sensei. I was 2 weeks in flower and had a family emergency, I asked a friend to feed them since he was gonna be feeding dog, so I taught him how to turn on Ro and mix. I even labeled bottles 1-6. I check runoff ph maybe 3 times through out an entire grow, and never had any issues since advanced nutrients always holds 5.93 on my apera ph60. Well I came home to the most horrible seen I've ever seen a tent. I almost want to chop and start over. I left a beautiful green tent and came back to chaos. 2 plants look fine 4 look like death. He said the only thing he did was used distilled water and showed me jugs. He bought and used distilled for a week, said he didn't want to wait 40 minutes for 5 gallon bucket of ro. My runoff ph was 3.61- 4 on the 4 bad one and 5- 5.2 on the 2 decent.

Forgot to mention grow medium is 70/30 coco/perlite and the runoff ppm was 2700 but feed is 1200ppm. I've ran 20 gallons through each 3 gallon fabric pot, at 300 ppm basic a/b flower but I used some ph to bring it up to 6.3. I just checked runoff and it's between 4.4 and 4.7 on the bad 4. I guess another 20 more. Should I wait so I don't drown root? Or just keep flushing till the ph and ppm and back to normal?

Gonna say lockout from the 6 bottles of nutrients @1200ppm. You should be @ 1/2 that.
If I mix what the chart says the ppm was over 1800ppm. You think at week 5 flower I should only feed 600ppm? That's what I feed them week 3 of veg. My last grow I used same nutrients and started flower at 1000 ppm and went up to 1600ppm by week 5 and had nothing but great results. I did taper down 300 ppm a week after week 5

Don't blame your friend. At least he kept them alive and fed your dog. I wouldn't want to wait around for 40 minutes waiting on RO either. If you ever have to leave again and have someone watch your plants it would be a good idea to make a bunch of RO ahead of time. You could even mix up a large tote of nutrient solution and have a small pump in there to keep it aerated and stirred up so all they have to do is water your plants with it.

Or since you're in coco get a starter pack of Blumats for $50.

Could have been worse. He could have kept the dog alive and fed the plants.

I know better than to trust someone with zero knowledge of growing, it's my fault.

There on beginning of week 5 on a 10 week strain, could these be saved or should I chop and start over? I don't want shit meds, if the damage is done I don't want to waste another 5 weeks. They still smell amazing especially the mac stomper.

You have to make that call. If it was me I'd finish them out.

I got them all back to .6ec or 300 ppm but their ph is still kinda low between 5.2 and 5.7. Should I let them go at that for a day and then go up 100 ppm a day and constantly check runoff till they start eating again or just jump back up to 1000-1200 ppm? Should I foliar power si bloom and a pk booster? I have 4 fans in tent and huge dehumidifier in room.
