Homer, my brother, I gotta tell you, weed can take such a punishment and the buds can still come out dynamite! I wouldn't worry about a thing, you've got this shit on lockdown...Just keep up with the watering, light nutes, and see where things go. Shit, I don't care if all my fucking fan leaves fall off, as long as those buds keep swelling...!
I have to agree with Meta here... You should see how sorry my plant looks at the moment, having survived PM, freezing temperatures, etc.etc etc. - basically all of the fan leaves are gone or yellow, and yet... the buds keep getting fatter and frostier and I am hoping for the best in a couple of days...
I am sure you will have all the harvest you can handle. LOL.

thanks dread, that's good to hear bro. i mean, not that your fan leaves are yellow/gone, but that the buds keep getting fatter! gives me more hope. can't wait to see your finished amnesia ;) . good luck with your first "start-to-finish" harvest man, and take some pics!!!!

yes, i haven't given them molasses in a while. i think i will add a tablespoon in my next watering, as well as try to mix in some bone meal into the soil. i have a feeling both plants are deficient in phosphorous and cal/mag (as well as nitrogen and probably everything else, lol). the molasses won't hurt, thanks kmk.

Homer how they looking this fine morning?
glad you asked grandaddy.. i just took a couple videos of the girls. blue cream is not looking so hot, dropped several more leaves since last night and doesn't smell so good... i'm hoping she's over the worst of it. amnesia on the other hand is looking better than last night :) . the foliage is stable, she smells fine, and the leaves are green (probably a little too dark green though, which may indicate phosphorous defiiciency). i won't water again until tomorrow, but tomorrow i will try to correct the phosphorous problem.

here are the videos of the two girls, at 5 weeks + 2 days of 12/12...

Doesn't smell so good? Like what kinda odor is she putting out, thats not cool...I dunno, BC looks to have some major fan leaf yellowing, but I wouldn't worry about it too much, I'm sure you can pull through a few more weeks. Amnesia looks yummy, and I'm glad to hear she's improving at least. I mentioned that Righty has a little purpling, I think that might be a phosphorus deficiency as well...I dunno, guess it's all part of the indoor growing learning curve. We'll get this shit dialed in soon!

well, BC's smell reminds me a little of that "drying" smell that you get when you are hanging the plants to dry. kinda hay-ish. the buds smell fine, but you have to get very close to smell them. i think there might be some damage to the stem system (perhaps) that's causing the drying, and i think the bone meal tomorrow will help with that. i need to be careful not to over water or under water.

i'm also glad that amnesia is doing better, because she was always my prize girl to begin with :) . thanks to you guys's encouragement, i'm not too stressed about any of this. i will keep doing what i can with the best of my knowledge and greenthumbedness and riu resources, and ride the next few weeks out. if i'm forced to harvest blue cream a week or two early (original target was april 15), then so be it. just means amnesia will get more light for the last few weeks.

thanks meta, i'm gonna take a closer look at your girls to see if i can spot the purpling you're talking about.

I wouldn't worry too much about the smell. It's probably a mix of chlorophyll and the decaying yellow leaves.

yeah, that's what i figured dk. when i tossed out the worst leaves last night and this morning, the smell got a little better, so i think you're right!

thanks a lot stoney! i have a feeling blue cream is gonna start improving in the next few days now that the nutes are more balanced (i think/hope).

i've said it before, but i'll say it again: all you guys's encouraging comments really help me keep my attitude positive!!! thank you, and +reps for everyone i can.

and in keeping with the positivity, here are some pics of ladies' buds, in kmk-friendly format ;) . still looking frosty and alive, i think.

For phosphorous deficiency I noticed it on my stems first. If you see it turning purplish and my leaves were kinda a lighter shade of green... thats what I saw on 2 of my plants and just upped nutes for a week or two and it went away. I wouldn't worry about the yellowing cause you are pretty far into flowering. I would just try to get the plants back on a consistent schedule and they'll probably fix themselves.

Also how much calcium/magnesium do your flower nutes have?

I feel like all the leaves around the buds themselves are healthy so like you said I wouldn't be worrying too much. Pics and vids look good as always +rep. Im still rooting for blue cream! look at those frosty fan leaves! haha
Best of luck

GREAT, now I gotta change my shirt cause I forgot my bib and drooled all over myself...LoL...Dawg, with frosty nuggets like those, you don't need to worry about losing a couple little bitch fan leaves...just slap those bitches around a little bit and tell 'em to get back in line, and in no time we'll be matching some dankies!

P.S.-Sorry I couldn't offer more "scientific" advise this go around, I'm listening to rage against the machine, so yeah... ;)

thanks a lot grandaddy!! i was taking the dark-green color as a sign of phosph def, maybe i was wrong? my flower nutes (flora nova bloom) have 4-8-7 (npk -- i think i gave you the wrong info the last time you asked), and 4 (cal) and 2 (mag). i'm glad you asked, because i hadn't realized that they had ANY cal/mag. maybe the bone meal won't be necessary, but molasses couldn't hurt, right?

i'll aim to get back on consistent feeding schedule (water every 2 days, feed every 2 waterings) and see how shit goes down. and thanks for the kind words about the buds and for rooting for blue cream (i know she appreciates it!). they buds are looking nice and so are the sugar leaves around them. the powdery mildew has taken a back seat for now, although i did see a couple of spots here and there that i will treat in a day or two. i think the repeated treatments of greencure may have caused some leaf burning, but not sure, so i'm gonna go a little easier on that.

oh sorry i didn't warn you meta, i just keep my bib on at all times. gets old trying to explain to people why i have it on, but i just say "trust me, it's for some dankity" and they walk away. thanks for the non-scientific advice bro, always appreciated!!

Easy Plant Guide Im gonna try and figure it out haha

I also used FloraNova bloom and molasses. I also used veg nutes about 4-5 weeks in once. (half strength)

After reading it I think you are right about phosphorous. I know I had that same deficiency. I think its cause FloraNova Bloom doesn't haven't enough P for the beginning parts of flowering cycle. I think next time around for the first third and fifth week im gonna get a bloom booster of some sort.

thanks for looking it up grandaddy. that easy plant guide looks handy, just downloaded it! i wish i could fast forward a couple days to see how my girls are doing, the recovery is slow, but i think they'll overcome.

Jesus christ monkey balls. The Amnesia is starting to take over as my favorite of the pair.
hahaha that made me laugh bro. thanks dk. the buds of amnesia smell piney and fresh. blue cream (when i get right up to the buds) smells sweet and tangy. both very pleasant smells actually. can't wait to smoke these biatches.

haha man i gotta remember to post a warning next time. i think the hats are perfect actually. they are already doing their job sustaining the bigger buds. i'm barely using any lst-wire right now, just on a few of the main branches and the stem. thanks for the compliments bro!!
