I'm happy every time another person like this hits that button. Making my time here better one person at a time :)

I posted plenty of photos before I got married back around 2013. Now days I dont really give a damn about people who demand pictures in order to have a conversation.

You claim to know so much but you wont do a test. You dont want to hear about my results. Sounds to me like you just dont want new information, and your happy with 2 year old anecdotal evidance from someone you like, vs current anecdotal evidence from someone you dont.

I like these bulbs because I can set up a area for under 20 bucks an a quick trip to Walmart. It isnt ment to be max performance diy LEDs. Its ment to be a simple solution that's very low cost, that anyone can do.

You can set up an entire grow for under $20 in material?

I don't think so. I mean, just the basic building material cost would be more than $20 unless you are using reclaimed wood or reusing old equipment. This $20 number could be misleading to a new member, for it will surely cost more than $20.

You are very hostile, which doesn't make you right.

People are allowed to disagree with you, there can be more than one right answer, and you should feel ok about yourself if you turn out to be wrong.

No one is attacking you as a person, or they weren't until you decided it was a good time to whip out your dick and start measuring.

Do you know what people on here respect? Measurement and math, not conjecture.

All you are offering is conjecture since you "don't take pics", which means either you grow super shit plants and shouldn't give advice (which is what everyone suspects), OR (even worse) you never took the time to learn how to properly protect yourself and remove data from pictures.

If you want pictures you gotta search my old old threads. Since being married I dont post pictures until its federally legal. I dont really care what you assume about my plants.

And you can in fact set up a veg area for 20 bucks, people do it all the time. Closet (free) power strip x2 (should have some laying around, if not about 5$) socket adapters 1$ each, pack of bulbs, 5-20$ depending on size pack. So can be done for 15-30$ pretty easy... I'm not saying this is good enough to flower, I'm saying for veg. I only flower under 1kw hps.

Fine with me. Not sure why you feel so threatened by my statements, or why your stuck in 2016, but that's totally up to you and anyone else who wants to live in the past
Haha what threatened? You never know what your talking about it's just fun to mess with you at this point. I'd bet my whole harvest the diodes in your bulbs are 2016 tech or older. But you would never tell us the diode in those because it would prove you wrong.

Your totally welcome to walk into a Walmart, pick up a pack and look at them in store, wont cost you a cent. You can keep your harvest, I've got plenty.

But you have done so much testing don't you know what diodes you "tested" I know what diodes I use I can just give someone that info. Everything you say you tested you want someone else to test again because you can't remember basic info? Also I don't know the exact light your using so picking up a random led at Walmart wouldn't tell me anything.

They are the slyvanna brand household bulbs in 2700. There isnt a ton of options, theres 1. The info on what diodes they are isnt on the bulb or I'd just read it off. It's not like a diy build where you select your diodes and you know this. Your just trollin, because like you said above, it's fun for you.
You honestly dont care about this, your just shittalk bandwagoning, and that's ok :)

So I recently made a micro grow box. I’m using a 7 way splitter with 5k 8.8w FEIT led bulbs, bought from Home Depot. My question is do these little LEDs need to be keep 18in away from you plants as well? Also I want to cut off the “Hood” I feel like its just for show and dimming my lights.
I grow mainly autos in a 32” high cabinet. By the time you take off my light fittings and the height of the pot I don’t have anywhere near 18” for veg, i think it is nearer 12” from bulb to soil.

I have 12x bulbs between 12-15w (depending where i bought them) all over 1500 lumen and all with globe off.
I am on week 11 of an auto grow and my lights are at their highest point - the bulbs are currently only 4-5” from the colas, with no burning. With the 8w bulbs you have you will be fine to have them really close.

I actually had one plant that should have been an auto but didn’t and i had to go 12/12 on the lights. It actually stretched above the lights. So i put the globes back on, because the leaves were physically touching the led chips.. That is the only time i have ever had any form of burning. The plant was still stretching when i took this..

This is my current grow and was taken about 1.5 weeks ago, you can see how close the bulbs are with no burning of buds. The leaves are brown as both plants are really close to harvest and were really underfed due to me being in hospital, nothing to do with lights.

Thank you! This is everything I wanted and more. I have no doubt that my set up will be perfect for what I want to do.

No problem, you asked a straight question you deserve a straight answer.

Remember to post a diary when you get started, that way people will be able to keep an eye on your grow, give advice and spot any potential problems before they happen.

Good luck.

Seriously @growingforfun everytime you post in threads you cause mass hate. Pages and pages of shit talking. We're all friends here but everybody seems to dislike you. Will you please just stop replying to these posts or fuck off?
Nah I think I'll probably reply when I'm tagged.

It's funny as hell to me when people who have literally never used a product spend a whole day and multiple posts shittalking it. Try to remember your position is a really hard one to defend when it's simple to look at these bulbs in person for free and see what I'm talking about.

m not demanding anything... just letting you know the bar if you want people to consider it credible
And its credible when you shit talk something you've never used or seen in your life? How about looking into it and putting in that minimum effort? Wont cost you a dime. You'll see these bulbs are not like anything posted in that thread.
