Just got a new "Little boy" system but he's not into security mode just yet so I'm looking into cameras & seeking advice from knowledgeable folk.

I run a 8 camera one from harber freight. Everything backed up to skydrive.

I also have a large boxer. He is trained, by me. He knows sit, lay down, shake and skit'em, among others.

His pic was in my playing with my cock thread. He was just a pup then. I guess he is about 70 pounds and still has some filling out to do.

It also help that I have a shooting range at the house and target practice on the regular.

I recently got a vid system. I went with Arlo by netgear. It was one of the only I could find that is 100% wireless. Nicad battery magnetic cams mount anywhere. Very easy set up , very user friendly . Well reviewed set up, I like mine. No complaints whatsoever. I got the ap on iphone so I can monitor when away and also move cams wherever and even keep an eye on my cat.

I have an i7 6700 based PC NVR system running 8 x 1080p network cameras (not wireless). I run them with Blue Iris software which is 60 dollars. My camera system is daunting but if a professional crew came through here they wouldn't care about my 4 megapixel cameras. So far it has stopped the dog crapping on my lawn. I have people walking their dog they start to let them take a crap by my mail box then they see the 1080p camera on them and move along.
