Huh, all the employees at my local HD I recognize and all have been in their own dept for years. Probably a few bad ones outta the bunch but no bad interactions comes to mind.
they don't stock a fucking thing, is my complaint...they don't even build stores with stock rooms any more, they have receiving bays that are barely big enough to hold the contents of one truck. they have nothing to put on bare shelves until more of that item comes in, no stock at all...the only thing any of the local grocery stores keep on hand is milk and eggs, anything else tough shit if they're out, no point in asking if they have more in the back, there is no back.SOOO you lost power from a big storm then went shopping for a Generator like 1000s of other folks. An your upset you couldn't get one? We lose power here often when temps are below freezing need to be prepped or shit outa luck. Stores dont stock lots of big ticket Generators because they dont sell until the big one hits then its to late for most folk.

Pretty much everything they say about here is true:I'm fairly new to coco. Why is Canna the best?
I've got 3 of the dam things you never no, I went 13 days no power in jan 98 Ice storm No generators for sale in New England didnt matter how much money you got.Never again! The wood stove kept the house from freezing solid.17kw Generac standby on my homefront.
Luckily I was outta State that Winter. I remember it well though, my folks sent pictures.I've got 3 of the dam things you never no, I went 13 days no power in jan 98 Ice storm No generators for sale in New England didnt matter how much money you got.Never again!
Good to know. I'm going to try a couple testers in coco and the Canna is a couple bucks cheaper than the other two brands at the local shop. Clean is good!Pretty much everything they say about here is true:
CANNA Coco 50L Bags | CANNA Gardening USA
CANNA COCO was one of the first coco substrate products available in the market in the 1990's and is now a widely popular substrate for your favorite plants. It is known for its high quality and as a trusted medium.www.cannagardening.com
I've just found it to be very consistent and clean, with a great texture, unlike many other coco products.
Are you lucky enough to have NG? Propane is getting crazy expensive. I was in FLA when the storm started the wife called an said i better get home fast I flew into portland it was 50 degrees i thought she lied to me,Well west of the turnpike it was 30 and freezing rain hard you can still see the damage to the trees today.Luckily I was outta State that Winter. 4-5 years back some people in the same town as me, different grid lost power for over a week in September due to wind. When I heard that ( losing power for over a week in Sept) having kids and being on a well, we bit the bullet and commited to buying a generator. I did the trenching for the conduit, bought the material and paid my electrian $300 to hook into the meter panel. We were able to do that for under 4k.
No, all propane up my way and I'd guess it's going to stay that way awhile. I haven't heard much talk about running any NG around here. Propane and oil prices may hurt some people this year. Firewood also on the way up.Are you lucky enough to have NG? Propane is getting crazy expensive.
