I have to disagree. Simple maths will tell you which one performs better. If they are both receiving the same average PPFD at the same height, then we can work out which spectrum is more efficient. Once we've done that, it's a simple matter of grams per watt to decide which is the more efficient fixture.I get your testing spectrum but you were given the lights for free to do a fixture side by side right? Once you got the free lights you completely changed what was supposed to happen now it's a spectrum test so at the end of it no one will have any idea how these fixtures perform.
A spectrum test can actually tell us a lot more than a simple side-by-side based on watts.
