what I did is turn on for 1 hr in morning , 1 hr around lunch , 1 hr before lights off for 3 days .. then I’ll do couple hours in morning and couple hours before lights off for a few day s , then she on for 12/12 while keeping an eye on things , so if she starts acting weird or show stress from the UV light , start the process all over till she is use to it ….right now the plant is 2-1/2 ‘ from the light … and of course this is dependent from strain to strain …let me know how it goes for you ..

May I ask you what the ambient temperature of the air you are pulling into the tent is?
I have the same 650R with UVA and I am struggling with temps. My ambient is around 84.
have mine set to turn on at 82 degrees .. 4x4 tent , 6 “ exhaust fan …

Yeah, but what is the temperature of the air OUTSIDE the tent?
72 ..but I don’t have the light turn all the way up , it’s just past the half way mark .. when it’s 90 plus outside and central air running and have that set at 76/78 , still don’t get that warm…

Update… front girl ,2 weeks since 12/12 (transition) week 1 of flower , the stretch is very minimal but I’m sure there be a slight more stretch , but not like it was with the other LEDS . So this changes a few things , next ones that go in flower , can i let them veg longer ? And bigger and don’t have to worry much about the height ? Is it because of using the HLG 650r or is it using it with the UVA too ? reading on far red cause a stretch , not here .. so this changes a few things .. the one in veg that I heavy defoliate is on 4 months ( mimic the summer schedule) plus I have 2 others from last grow under different LED stretch a bit .. so we will see … here some pics …flower tent and veg tent ….
