HLG 600 R Spec & Mars Hydro FC4800 questions

Hey man, so let's look at this. For your 4x4 space the 600 is perfect, I think any more and you would either be running it on lower setting or having to add CO2. If you are going to upgrade to a 5x5 I would get the 650, if sticking with the 4x4 go for the 600. It gives you 37.5 watts per square foot so without CO2 is about as optimal as you will get I think. As for heat, my heat sync is right now at 33.5, my canopy temp is an even 25. The light is set at 50% and about 28" from plant canopy. I am flipping to flower in next week at which point I will raise the power up every day for a week until it is at 100% and at about 24". That is what Steven at HLG stated and the plants seem to love it. If you do go with either light let me know and I will forward you the instructions I got when I spoke to HLG. Here is a pic of my 4 plants 2 minutes ago when I measured my temps for you. The 2 on the left are Shiva Skunk, the 2 on the right are Maui Waui. They were all topped once. Oh and another note, I think the 6" fan should be fine for either tent. I am using a 4 inch and it is very easy to create negative pressure at less than 1/2 power so I think the 8" is probably overkill in my opinion. I know the HLG's are more expensive but no matter what, price aside, I cannot see you being disappointed with either purchase. I know I am super happy with mine. View attachment 4752948
Hey I’m going with the hlg as well... wondering which exhaust system I should go with.... is the one you have working well? If so can you send me the link so I can take a look? Also on Amazon it comes out as 600 BSpec is that different from Rspec?

Hey, the Bspec is just for veg but the Rspec is for veg and flower. I am running the Rspec for the plants whole life cycle, they love it. In my 4x4 space I use a 4" carbon filter. Because it is smaller it makes a bit more noise but does the job perfectly well. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07FF99DP9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Do you think I should go with the same brand just, the 6 inch? Maybe it would be quieter since it has to work less? Also a different brand I usually see a lot of vivo and I power... but I think they’re probably not that good... lol

The 6" would be quieter. The Infinity T series is supposed to be really good but they are pricey here in Canada, not so bad in the US. The T6 is well over twice the price of the T4 and the Infinity carbon filters cost more than my complete exhaust kit, lol. I suppose it depends on if a louder fan with bother anyone and your budget.

@Jmerc AC infinity is doing 15% off right now with the code cannabeard. I found it is a little less to go through their Amazon store (you save like $20-40 going through Amazon on taxes) fyi the code still works on Amazon. I would go with a 6” for the 4x4. I am also debating putting a $20 4” booster fan in the tent for late flower to help lower my humidity from ~55 to ~40%, but a intake fan is really not needed and is just personal preference

Nice!!!! Do you happen to have the link? I searched it once but it seem it to come just the Inline fan by itself

Just put all 3 in your cart and use code cannabeard & checkout
Thanks for the code man, that's awesome. It works on Amazon.ca as well. I just ordered the T4 and it was only $135 delivered. Its max noise is 28DB and my old one is 35-55db so much quieter. Plus it has the temp/humidity controller. Will also allow me to use my spare carbon filter so pretty awesome. Still can't justify buying the 6" though, not for my 4x4 tent. That said the controller and quieter fan will be great.
