I just spied this light at top of this page.
Specification:UFO-320

UPC:600740987755

Par Value: 3255.6umol

Lumen: 52053 Lm±5%@AC120V 54671 Lm±5%@AC240V

Power draw: 725W + - 5%@AC120V 710W + - 5%@AC240V

Probably means 3255.6 ooooomoles within the PAR range 400nm-700nm......
I think.... lol
those are bullshit specs. 3255.6 is obviously a ppfd spot reading. youd need 1500-2000W to get 3255 ppf

but yes the "ooohmoles" guy was also full of shit with his highly focused garbage lights.

spot readings = irrelevant

I'm pretty sure PAR means the range of light radiation a plant can use. It stands for Photosynthetically Active Radiation.

*correct me if I'm wrong*

2 700ma drivers powering 8 cobs will provide more light than 1 1400ma driver powering 4 cobs, same wattage used in either example.

It's up to you but the person that replied back to you did not or must have not read the question correctly

Obviously you're going to get more light off of 8chips than 4 but if you're asking to drivers 8chips at 1400 or 1drive 8 chips 700mah driver get the f****** to 1400 mah on my God

I wanted to add something I left out. I have multiple drivers with spade connectors just like Suipra recommended to make my systems plug and play. Only I forgot I had both 36v and 72v cobs, and I put a C700B model driver on a set of 72v cobs that lit up,but with no meter live was good. two years later I got a meter that I connected to each of my fixtures. after connecting them up and going back to what I do, I noticed that the watts were way low for veg.

I had to go back to my invoices of purchase for all my different cobs and label each one to remember which was which. It turned out I was underdriving my cobs in veg by a good 50% margin, but yet I was experiencing fantastic growth and bushiness.

Just like most experiments, it began as a mistake that lead to new understanding . Supra always said is softer is better. The real funny part, it all came out with a conversation I was having with @REALSTYLES and I looked at my light and gasped when I told him what I was seeing.
