high bay light help

ok so I have got 3 400W high bay light setups for free. I am trying to wire it to work with a 120V outlet but have no idea how. Any help would be great. :)

looks to be wired to 120v already, what you looking for is, a wire labled common or neutral this usually yellow or white. then another wire labled 120v(tends to be black, or black with yellow stripe) and the green wire is ground, hook them up the the same wires on your cut off extension cord. if the wires arent tabled on the extension cord( which i doubt) white is common black is hot/live, and green is ground.

pic #2 shows the nameplate of the light. its primary voltage is 277 volts. that doesnt look like its a multi tap ballast, so you must use 277v.

120v will not work.

its not worth rebuilding the lights with a new ballast kit, but can be done. get a different light and make sure it can be wired for 120 volts. if you find one and need a hand with the wires, let me know.

check out the link in my sig.
