Ok, is there a way to convert an outlet to 277v? I got them for free so if i can use them great, if not owe well.pic #2 shows the nameplate of the light. its primary voltage is 277 volts. that doesnt look like its a multi tap ballast, so you must use 277v.
120v will not work.
its not worth rebuilding the lights with a new ballast kit, but can be done. get a different light and make sure it can be wired for 120 volts. if you find one and need a hand with the wires, let me know.Ok, is there a way to convert an outlet to 277v?
