If the medium is watered correctly...good to go. But, MG is mostly used by newbies and new growers tend to over or underwater until they get the feel of watering correctly. Underwatering not so great, over watering in MG can be deadly with the quickness.

How do I not overwater bro? I just stuck my finger in the mf and it feels moist

Just dont give it a shit load of water! If its moist its fine but do not let it dry out
