In 85 I was getting lambs bread by the bale, hard packed but killerLived where the street swag was Mexican brick. Moved where the swag was Jamaican bale. Kinda like going from rancid to only putrid.

I remember this...In 85 I was getting lambs bread by the bale, hard packed but killer. Couldn't keep people away lol. Almost needed to heat it to break it apart.
I bought some real deal Columbian gold back when i was 14. It was almost bright yellow and what a spacey high!. Best i had ever smoked at that point, in 1980.First green, seedless pot I saw was called Gainsville. I remember the first time smoking gold, spicy Columbian like it was yesterday, what a trippy powerful high!
This is an interesting book you guys might enjoy, kind of dry reading but lots of information:

Ima growing some Romulan. Not the same thatcwas coming out of BC in the 90s, but close. I usually do NL, AK and white russian...Enough about old times, lets talk about what going on now. I'm just now starting a grow of my own hybrid. I call it Spiritual Haze. It's my cross between Spiritual Punk and Super Silver Haze. Both have Northern Lights in their genes. Should be an interesting combination. Trying to get the best of both. I really like the indicas but my heart is with the sativas that I grew up with, Any other oldsters growing? Let us know.
Pretty sure everyone in here is growing something. I've been mainly indoor for the last 3 1/2 years or so, many years of outdoor guerilla grows but the work got to be a bit much. Now I do a couple of outdoor per season in the back yard mainly for the grow. As far as genetics go I got sick of paying through the nose for questionable beans and have been focusing on creating my own crosses. It's more fun and has generated a few gems. Out of 13 plants I have flowering right now, 10 are my own crossesEnough about old times, lets talk about what going on now. I'm just now starting a grow of my own hybrid. I call it Spiritual Haze. The only time I purchased Mexican was because there was nothing else hahaI still dont understand why our American friends bought the mex stuff. Seems to be all seed and no strength
And i can see when people say pot is more stronger now than it was is due to this and the American experience.
Being Australian our pot was and still is mainly Asian Sativa's and has always been pretty damn good.
back then we bought what we could get. the good stuff was rare and hard to find but we did buy it when we could find itI still dont understand why our American friends bought the mex stuff. Seems to be all seed and no strength
