IMO the real problem is electing politicians who think that government should be made as ineffective as possible. That was started with the last Washington outsider we elected, Reagan.
You seem to be under the impression that president is a job that anyone can do. I don't think that is true. Sounds like an incredibly difficult job to me.

I don't think there is any question that when Obama took office he wasn't experienced enough. If he would have actually been able to get done what he wanted to do it would have been much better. But he was learning on the job and has taken a lot of hits for that. In retrospect, Hilary should have probably won the primary and Obama should have been VP.

Yep, that's what we needed all right. Hillary the avowed Progressive as president and a Chicago public employee union puppet as VP. I think I'll take Herman Cain over those two any day of the week.

Right! Obama is one of the most thin-skinned politicians to come down the pike. Cain would have Obama so flustered he would be intimidated into silence. Honesty has a way of doing that to demigods. I'll take Cain or Col. West in a debate over Obama in a debate any day of the week. Truth ultimately trumps bullshit every time.

I'm not a Hillary fan at all. I just think she could have handled the job better in the first few years.
barack obama is one of the best debaters the republican party has ever come against.
ask the last republican who tried it.
his ability in front of a mike as an orator is among the best this country has ever seen in a president. he also has incredible sense of humor and comedic sense. any debater going up against him is going to have a hard time.
not even ronald reagan, a man who spent the majority of his life in front of a camera ACTING and PITCHING products, could speak as well as obama does....
ask the last republican who tried it.

Uhh, I think the last debate was against McCain. A young whippersnapper debating against an old demented war monger is hardly a challenge. I DO agree that Obama has a great personality and a charming way about him, but he hasn't really been put to the test by the likes of Herman Cain or Col. West. I go back to my original argument ... truth will out weigh fiction every time.

Political experience is irrelevant. It is not a prerequisite for political office.
It's refreshing to hear a candidate admit he does not know the answer to a particular question rather than shovel more bullshit. No one person can be an expert on every possible subject.
Don't be so naive. They all rely on advisers.
So Cain was a 'scary' CEO for Big Pizza. Outstanding!
Who better to find free market solutions for our ailing economy than a man who knows what it's like to meet a payroll?
We need a CEO because the community organizer is a disaster.
In a debate Cain would mop the floor with the Messiah, who never so much as managed a snow cone stand in the private sector.

Really? Look, the Democrat Party has been taken over by far left Progressives, Communists/Fascists really. So, when comparing Hillary, an avowed Progressive, to out and out Communists, she may appear to be a "centrist" to some, but in reality, she's still a 60's leftist. I would consider someone like Reagan to be a centrist. On the right we have those who want a small central government limited that is chained by the Constitution, with the power in the hands of the states. That would be Ron Paul, Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Col. West and Herman Cain. With this in focus, we can clearly see why the far left (the Communists/Fascists) would be in such a panic about these people getting elected. And by the way, the Democrats will not focus on the issues, they will continue to lie, demean and ridicule their opponents in an effort to draw attention away from the terrible results of their proposals and programs. They do it every time.They have to. After all, Saul Alinsky wrote their bible (Rules for Radicals), and that's all they know. The problem for the Left is, a lot of us with a libertarian mindset have read the book too. So now here we are, posting in forums like this in an effort to change minds and educate the uneducated ... speaking from a political standpoint, that is.
He doesn't know what's in the Constitution. Here he is running his mouth like he does 'cept its the Declaration of Independence that has those words not the Constitution.
