Listen my good friends; I have tried every retarded fuggn thing out there thinking it would help the plant grow better… Please open a book and read about how photosynthesis really works then you can really understand what a plant needs. An hps and a mh together put off a perfect spectrum for the plant. If you just stuck a mirror in there on each side, you would be in business.

oh and mirrors are a really bad idea. they actually absorb a lot of light. ever see a hallway with two mirrors on either side. or put two mirrors up to each other? and look down the tunnel that is created? it just keeps getting darker and darker...

Sorry if I am way out of line but.... hahahahahahahahaha:clap:

ok, mirrors or white paint? which is more effective? mirrors seem like they would be perfect, but tuss is giving me the impression it's comparitive to foil.

Why is it ok to have a green light on during lights off? Because the plants don't see it. It is not about what you see and mirrors reflect image, they absorb light, that is a sceintific fact. VV

I just thought of something that could possible be amazing,

Alright first back layer of tin/aluminum foil. On top of that get some of that blue plastic paper stuff(its transparent lol dont know what its called) and put a later of that on top of the tin foil.

So, you would get the reflective properties of the tin foil and the blue color with the plastic. Also, the plastic layer would prevent light burns from the foil.

Dunno, im baked and i got this from some deep thinking:bigjoint:

you cant make your lights produce more blue light by putting up blue paper. the blue paper absorbs everything but the blue light. so if you had mylar you would still reflect the blue but not like the paper color because you see the other colors combined with the blue. so moral of the story. mylar because it reflects everything
