Hey all you talented growers out there, I finally joined the party!
My first official grow is just about wrapping up. I cared for some unknown bag seeds inside a 4x4x8, using a Marshydro TSW 2000. I laid off nutes completely until flowering, and then used the suggested feeding schedule for Fox Farms Buds n Blooms. My soil was MG moisture control potting soil In 5g buckets. I wanted to experience and experiment with as much natural growth as I could before seeing how added nutrients would effect it. So, I wasnt expecting too much to say the least. I ran a dehumidifier during flowering and kept RH between 40-55 overall, but my heat was consistently in the 80s and 90s during this time. Veg time was almost 3 months since seed, and the avg temp was around 75. I had a circulating fan on the floor and a stationary halfway up directed at the light, with an inline and carbon filter above.
I made 2 videos to log my progress:
From seed to flower
Flower
I learned a lot this grow and certainly evolved my processes and environment over the course. That all said, I have 1/4 remaining in the tent. I chopped the other 3 yesterday due to what I believed to be heat stress setting in from the change in appearance I noticed. Perhaps I seemed impatient, but my intuition felt it was prime time. I left the other alone because it seemed several weeks behind, even though it was my biggest and nicest developed. It also has some odd foxtailing which I believe to be strain related, as the other ones never did, but seemed to be beginning to due to that high heat. I really dunno, but it seemed like my buds were growing an extreme amount of white pistils towards the end. These flowered for exactly 7 weeks.
I researched all about harvest timing and the associated highs and ill be honest, I know a lot rides on the type of strain, but everywhere I read seemed to have conflicting and differing answers to everything. So, as I said before, Im experimenting to learn for myself. I reliaze these were probbly pulled a bit immaturely, but I am still hoping to catch a buzz for my efforts! I currently have my plants drying, hung whole at right around 60RH and about 70-75 temp.
Looking from these buds, would you intelligent specimens kindly share your opinion on what type of high I could expect from my buds? Thanks so much all!
