I'm a noobie on a doobie. I just snipped off the top of my OG Kush plant. I snipped it at the top of the stem which had a new leaf forming. Is this cool to be considered topping?

in my aeroponic bubbler set up i have 4 3inch net pots in a 5 gallon bucket bubble stone air pumped into it and can do top feed drip if i need to. i have 4 150 watt cfl producing 7500 lumens of "sunlight" my plants are now around 3 to 4 inches tall and have 3 to four sets of leave, short and bushy. im using humbolt oneness as my nutrients annd maintain ph regularly. do i need to use anything else other than humbolt oneness?

I have started seedlings and the stems are about 12 inches but almost all the leaves are gone????? help??

I need help ! I'm just starting a small , simple closet garden . I have started growing two plants on a a 12/12 lighting schedule from the start. I've been seeing posts saying i need to change the lighting to force a flowering phase .
And my second problem , well possibly a gift , Is the smell . The weed was a strain stronger than i've ever experienced , and rather smell like skunk they're only a month old and starting to smell like strongggg armpits. Lmao . Any ideas on wtf i'm doing wrong ? Don't criticize too hard , im an obvious novice !

I got a couple of question. How do you know when to change the light schedule after the first day of seed on soil and what are all the stages of the plant and what does that mean and what plant is the less stinkyest to plant and when do you know when to flower? Sorry about all the questions I just need to know the simple stuff.

Cool need a little help. I have an outdoor shed I turned into veg and flower cabinets. Totally drywalled and insulated. They are both 4' wide X 2 1/2' deep X 5' tall. One side I put T5's for vegging and a 600w HPS in other to flower. I have a 400 cfm inline fan to pull air from both rooms. I can control temp ok with pulling air from hood. but Humidity I am having a problem with. I am not using an AC so I pull in fresh outside air with small axiel cooling fans. Maybe need more intake? Thanks for any input

hi this is my 2nd grow i did one in the summer last year it was big bang and i grew 2 plants and got 13oz of dried bud so when the summer was over so was my weed growing so i got a grow tent kit 400w hid 2 SPEC LIGHT FAN AND SO ON IM ABOUT 4 WEEKS INTO MY GROW. big band 1x and grapefruit big bang is 4"tall with 6 leafs the other one is 2" with 4 leafs on the soil is at ph 6.7 and the temp is 78 with fan on whch come on every 45 min for 15 mins so there is fresh air coming in all the time but the temp goes up when not on to about 96 but i dont have the money to buy more timers so im makeing the best of what i got. when do i veg them can u help?

would you leave the fans running when the lights are off at night

i have a hermi. and noticed it realy growing flowers n sacks under the bud n in the bud. should i just chop it down ? there is no way of bringer it back. i have had a serious issue the past 2 weeks and now its like 10-11 weeks in flower. its a sativa bag seed. just dont know what to do with it. maybe make hash or can i harvest like normal just with seeds in my bud ?

I have a question about lighting. I have recently heard two different things about the amount of light to give as you get to the end of the flower cycle. One source said to give the plant as little light as possible, preferably no light, once you give the plants the final mixture of nutrients. The other source said to step down the light over the last few weeks. Start with 12 hours light, then 8, 6, etc. Any thoughts/experiences with either of these methods? Thanks.

i have mold on my roots. what can i do to save my plants? how bad is the mold for my plants and me when and if i smoke the bud?

My soil PH level is reading low (2-3) how can I raise it up? Shouldn't it be (5-7) somewhere in that range? Thanks

I have a 10x10 4 1k watt flower set up. What size fan should i use to cool the enclosed lights? All four hoods are xxxl 8 in running hortilux super HPS bulbs. I have an 8in active air inline fan 720 cfm, already.
The fan sucks the cold air from the basement over the hot lights and exhaust outside via 8inch insulated venting, the hoods are connected to one another by 6 inch venting and 8x6 reducers. I have them almost exactly three feet apart, parallel :: not - - - - linear.

I am thinkin of switching it all to 8 inch venting. I just couldnt find it at the time i set up. Will the extra two inches of air flow really make a big difference in cooling the lights down, or should i just get a more cfm, will adding an inline booster help much?

I need help with my drip feed system.

What size pump should i use to feed 30 to 50 plants in 5 gallon bucketts using drip irrigation? The emitters are pressure regulating, i dont know what the min gph would be to feed all 50 bucketts

I have read not to exceed 25psi on the 1/4 inch tubing i put the emitters on.
anyone have a designs for drip system?

I am thinking of putting a 70 gal tank in my closet, running the 1/2 inch poly 5 feet or so to the grow space. Using T's and splitters to connect the main line from the res to pressure regulating emitters on stakes, stake them in the buckets. Refilling the res every 10-14 days.

I use advance nutrients and sometimes see slime and other gross stuff in my bottles. sensi grow 2 part and conniseur, when i called the tech he said it was protein bind, so i will need to get a mesh net to put my pump in....

Any suggestions, ideas or advice. I have a lil experience so lay it on me please

Need advice, Bout to start my fourth grow next month and I would like to have some kind of perpetual harvest. heres my set up. I am building a six foot tall grow cabinet with two chambers one for veg one for flower and a cloneing area on a shelf next to it with a single t5 bulb. each chamber will hold six plants in a top drip/dwc set up the veg chamber I'm considering a 24 inch eight bulb t5 set up and the flower chamber will run my 1000 watt hid. I would like suggestions on how long to clone, veg and flower so that there is no down time and each station has plants growing. I will be starting my first batch from seeds and cloneing from there on. any help would be much appreciated.
