I'm new at hempy but have not had any problems. I don't have a bubble cloner and have only used rockwool and jiffy pellets for cloning. I haven't killed anything yet except for a male and it's clones. I like to ph the water and use water with a bit of B1 or superthrive when transplanting. It may not be ideal but nothing had died and everything seems to be growing well. I've heard that you can't overwater with hempy as long as your drain works. I probably use way too much water and nutes but I've had no burn and no wiltiness. It's a pretty hearty plant.
Do you have a humidity dome? You could throw some clear cups over the plants to up the humidity a bit. That may help.
Good luck.
As for pouring in one spot, I try to water close to the stem until the roots hit the bottom. It's obvious when the roots hit the reservoir. Here's a picture of a rootball from a 5 or 6 week old plant:
That's a 3.2 gallon container. The hempy pots allow roots to form well. Please stop by my grow journal and let me know what you think. I'm new and appreciate any and all input
