Help With Pest ID

Outdoor grow in SF Bay Area. Just found two tiny beetle-like critters in the pistils of my Blue Dream buds. I didn't have time for a full inspection, so hoping they aren't too widespread at this point. I know the pic is not great, but all I could do. They are about 2-3 mm long, six legs, wings, sort of a maroon tint to them in the sun. I've been searching online but can't find a good ID. I can find no apparent damage to the plant.

Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

could be a japan beetle . I had about 1000 of those in house just moved in . they got very annoying . ( DO NOT SQUASH THEM ! ) this WILL attract other beetles of the different sex . will release hormones . I am talking total plant loss in a week is possible .

??????

yer fine - non harmful!

Your going to see bugs resting in the plant - plenty of spiders await meals in cannabis plants. It's out doors and you'll get a few nibbles on the plant. It's normal.
Just keep a keen eye pealed for mites, thrips, whiteflies and aphids....

out doors a few nibbles is expected . that why we hit them with some thing bugs hate . like neem . sour the taste . in a indoor 1 nibble pisses me off . i rather throw out a plant then deal with bugs .

Appreciate it, guys. Thank you.

This is my eighth year outdoors so I'm used to finding, and sometimes battling creatures (been hosting praying mantis fairly often this year and "managing" spider mites", but I always get more nervous as the flowers get fatter and seeing these things literally in the pistils did give me some extra worry. Haven't been out to check again, but hoping they were just random visitors not planning on populating the plants.
