You're right. At first I was using a 125w CFL then yesterday, the beginning of the second week as seedlings, I switched to a MarsHydro 600. During the first week the temps were highest 26°C (78.8 ) Now with the LED the highest temps have reached up to 28°C (82.4) They are beginning to show symptoms of heat stress but I never thought that the temps were extreme for them. Is this heat stress or something else? They started off in Biobizz allmix soil.More details = Better answers
where is this heat stress your talking about? they look fine to me, 82 degrees is fine for seedlings just keep the lamp far enough away that they dont get burned but not so far they stretch all crazy like. You're right. Question my intelligence by all meansI don't mean to question your intelligence, but why is it blistering though?
Lol look at the top leaf on the bottom picture the middle part looks bubbly, its like that on a few leavesQuestion my intelligence by all means
A. Its blistering because it wants to
B.its blistering because you don't want it too
C. I can't really see what you mean by blistering and would generally say they look ok .
Thank you I'll see how it goes if I get some time I'll get a pic in natural light so its clearerlook good imo, maybe this "blistering" look you describe is some excess nitrogen that the plant is gonna use for making you some more leaves, as long as new growth is coming in nice and green and continues to grow, I wouldnt worry about it. They are looking good for now though, maybe a picture in natural light will help members to see more clearly if it does have any visible signs that arent showing up in the previous pictures you posted cause I dont see much of a problem..
Thanks, its their third week atm can I FIM now? It's a young and new set of leaves coming in. They will always look crinkly like that.
