ok so im a little confused on the advanced nutrients nutrient calculator, what is the difference between all of the feeding programs, (light, moderate, light moderate, medium, moderate heavy and heavy, mothers, vegetative, etc....). how do i know which one is best for me? the previous one i had was on moderate light feeding and it wasnt growing that fast i dont think. Can anyone help me out or give me some tips on mixing nutrients using a hydroponic flood system. Also any suggestions on how often the plants should be fed with the advanced nutrients grow programs, ,2 ,3 ,4......????? during day light hours

And also how many weeks should it be if you use the advanced nutrients calculator? 8-16 weeks??

please help

It really depends on your strain. I usually use the light to light moderate feeding on between 8-12 week schedules. start out with the light feeding and see how they take it. If they do well then up the feeding a little. I usually take the ppms up to the point that I see a little burn and then I'll dilute a little. it would help you a lot to get a ppm meter and monitor the plants uptake. I run ebb and flow and drip systems on 15 and off for daylight hours so I would probably run your flood between 5-8 times a day, maybe even ten. Good luck.:peace:

I havent had any luck with research as too which feeding program people are using for that calculator either..so mid way threw my flower I am just going with the 'light' feeding schedule as im paranoid of nute burn. So far so good, with little to no problems as far a nute problems. I use it as an 8 week cycle.
my 2 cents

Still learning the ropes here, or the green, whatever. So how did things turn out? I've been reading the nute calculator at Advanced Nutrients too and it looks way too complicated.

It would be awesome to hear if someone else figured it out - anyone?

I use Iguana Juice Bloom in my soil/coco grows so this help could be futile for your grwo style but it may help you decide on a recipe.

The nutrient calculator was too confusing for me as well so I started out with 3/4 teaspoon per quart which equaled out to 3 teaspoons per gallon. Followed that for the first couple of weeks then upped it to 4 teaspoons per gallon, once I saw that the plants could handle it I upped the dose again to 5 per gallon and leveled off untill flower time started to come to a close. Then I started going back down in dose at the same rate as I went up.

This is pretty much waht the guy above said, just see what they can handle in small incriments. But start out small at first if they do well pump it up.

Which line are you using? a 2 part?
