Help-wilting seedling

Hi guys,

Hoping for a little bit of help, I germed 5 Sensi Skunk Autos(Soak for 24H and the new wet paper towel for two days) all went well, one didn't crack and I fucked one putting it in the root it cube. So I have tree seedlings, two of them seem to be doing really well but one of them was growing very slow and still had no taproot coming out of the cube on day 7 so I thought I would let that plant dry out for a day to make the roots search for water. So I was checking it every few hours and all of a sudden it started to wilt and appeared very weak. So I watered the plant beliving it was suffering from under-watering, and it quickly picked up, but today (day 8) it does look like it's bouncing back but the cotyledons look quite yellow and crumbly, it has got a set of true leaves. I will attach some photos but really just wanted to know
1) is the wilting cotys something I should worry about?
2) how would I know if a rootit cube has rooted in soil(the two successful seedlings I planted in 16L Canna Terra pro +)

Hi
If you put them under HID they gonna die or stop growing .
Now you need diffrent light like cfl or ...
It’s not veg time you are in.
And my advice put clear plastic cup on top
Don’t over water them y gonna miss many times with

Hi thanks for the reply, the light is dual spec so I should be fine. I've grown under this light before with no issues and it's only one seed I'm having issues with

I see sometimes wired things happening on feminized seeds .
Auto also same as fem .
Mybe cause of germination but can’t telling much if y good on others

I'd put that cube in a pot or cup of moist soil /coco and leave it be for a couple days.

You should consider changing your germination method. Soaking for 24hrs, paper towel for 2 days, then root cubes, then into their pots. That's a lot of unnecessary risk of damage to the tap root. I'm not saying thats the problem you're having now, there's no way to tell at this point without digging it up. If you're not feeding it, cooking it with light, or over / under watering it theres not much else it could be.

So you let one dry, it wilted and came back. I'd say no sweat. Plants recover from wilt ok. But seedlings are a little more sensitive. I say she'll make it. Just stressed a little.

And cotyledons yellow and drop off. That's what they do...they are the sacrificial food for the plant during sprouting.

Ah cheers bro that's a sweet reply, she's a quite lot smaller than the other two but that's probably just because of the stress I've had her through ! Cheers

I do indeed, I'll go and turn it away from the plant! I've also raised the light a touch incase it could be that! I'll uploads some photos of all three and could you tell me if there is anything I'm missing? Thanks for the speedy reply bro

Davey,
As others have posted...you are way overkill on the light. Seedlings just don't need it. Glad you moved the light up.

So gentle airflow and try to keep the moisture medium. Not too wet...not too dry.

Inspect plant way down where stem meets the ground. That's where damp off starts to occur. It's a fungus that basically eats through stem and plant falls over dead. You'll see a reddish ring around stem. I use powdered sulfur as an organic preventative. Sprinkle a little on base.

If you get stretching and they get wobbly...use a chopstick and a wire tie (or something similar) to support it till it gets bigger.

PS There's the one shot on the right where you can barely see the seedling. That one probably won't make it.
