Help!!! Resevoir question

How could i set up an external resevoir? Like how does it work if i use 2 bins insteadof one ?

Wiuld i just have to refill the one resevoir and have it pumping the nute water into the bucket and the other bucket pumps backinto the res ?

Basically i dont want to have to touch the bin inside my box i dont know if this is actually possible. I already got the bins and a water pump

just use 1 bin, cut a hole in the lid large but still stable enough to hold a large pot (providing you've invested in a heavy duty bin) nd let the run off fall back into it, it's a simple set up with low maintenance just a weekly change of water.

or you could do it your way and have the second res return line going back in the main res above the water line (so you don't need an air pump).

tbh they'd both do the same thing and will work, you'll just save room and an extra pump by using the first method.
