Ok so basicly I have nothing to test my soil at the moment so I'm testing the run off and it's like 5 :wall: So I feel like I bout oh down for nothing now. The runoff was 5 when I watered with tap which is usually like 7.5. So should I be raising the ph in the tap water to get the right runoff? I'm using fox farm ocean forest soil. I'm just worrying that if the run off is as bad as I think that my plant is gonna freak when I get it right so I'm waiting to feed nutes until I figure this out. HELP!!!!!!!:peace::leaf::eyesmoke::!:

I think you could leech the soil with the tap water you have and it should raise the ph. Or you could always add dolomite directly to the soil. Dolomite lime, not hydrated lime

What about baking soda I heard it raises oh in water... At least until I can buy some dolomite lime..

Its fine. That is where you spilled nutrients on it. All looks good.

Good soil buffers itself and as it dries the pH fluctuates for proper nutrient uptake.

Ok so it turns out that the one leaf was actually back splash of fox farm big bloom from when I was making the water mix. I wiped it off with a wet q tip. So now that their isn't anything visibly wrong with my plant I wonder if I should keep watering with 7.5 with a run off of 5 or should I raid the ph water to like 8 to get the run off a little higher??
