Help! Leaf tissue deterioration on otherwise healthy plants.

Hello everyone,

I am in Day 4 of Bloom - I noticed some strange holes appearing on the leaf tissue on some of my girls here. The holes are pretty severe on one plant in particular, but I’ve noticed the same symptoms on some other plants of the same cultivar. The overall health of the plants is pretty good and new growth is pretty vigorous. I have looked closely with a jeweller loupe but can’t seem to see any pests around the damaged tissue.
Feed EC: 2.0
Room Temp: 84
RH: 69%
CO2: 1300
PPFD: 700
Growing in rockwool drip fed drain to waste. Steering generatively, feeding periodically to saturation in the first half of the day - drying media back about 20% overnight.

I can’t seem to figure out what the issue is. No burnt tips or signs of stress otherwise - could it just be a genetic issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say caterpillars too. The only strange part is the concentration of holes towards the middle of leaves. My caterpillar damage is more random.

I'd spray with Grandevo and BT to cover all the chewing insect bases.

Yep, time to call up Captain Jack and spray him all over your plants. Honestly, Spinosad is the most hardcore thing I'm willing to spray on my plants, I'm honestly amazed that the stuff is certified organic because it spells like proper poison, but it has worked for me in the past, outdoors anyway. The clock is ticking now, you want to eliminate those creatures before buds start forming, so I'd go straight to that stuff rather than mess around with neem or diatomaceous earth or other mild natural pesticides. Just an fyi, test a single plant or branch with whatever you use, then spray the rest the next day if it looks alright. Don't use any nasty pesticides though, simply not necessary-good health is such a gift! Good luck!
