The first link didn't work, so I'm not sure which light was your first choice. For that size tent, I would go with the smallest of those lights; the one with 4 modules. That unit should provide plenty top light for your area.

The reason im going with the more expensive LED's is to me it they seems easier to use than mh/hps but also better than cfl's.

guess again, maybe easier to install but not to grow by than mh/hps..

I didn't say they were better than mh/hps it just easier to get set-up like you said and I need it to be as unnoticeable as possible and leds seem like the better choice.

I also meant there's a certain way you have to grow under led, certain things you'll have to do.

If there are better led units for about the same price it would be awesome if someone could tell me.

and yes the two smaller panels will be better than the one larger one, I own two blackstar 500 and have grown under HID since day one, my first and final total LED grow ended up not that good, the quality was there but it was light fluffy buds and the entire two plants from that tent went into the tamisium.
I use LED in veg because they work pretty well but in flower I couldn't do shit with them other than make with the light airy buds.

these new gen blackstar may be a nice improvement but I don't know, the older panels are plenty intense but I won't change my style of growing just so I can use them, I know with hps I'll get great results. I actually have a couple panels hanging beside a 1kw hps in flower but I will not use LED in flower alone .

go HPS but they do cost more to run than LEDs but its a better yielder and LEDs have a big upfront cost. so weigh out your options.

you get what you pay for, I'd go with what you posted OP, but that's just me, I'd rather buy nice name brand things as long as they don't start with lumatek.

I have Lumatek and a Phantom and both work great but in my personal opinion magnetic ballasts are easier to fix than electronic ballast and that offers you the ability to fix it faster to give you less downtime. Trust me you get the same results as electronic ballasts plus having a friend who owns a grow store you see the returns.

I have a 1kw hps in an 8 by 5 room and I hang a couple led panels to the side to supplement a bit. I think 40-60 watts per square foot .

magnetic ballasts consist of easy to exchange components and are cheaper to replace than an electronic ballast component. if you could even pinpoint the problem.
