Help colas turning black around the edges?

If the colas have stopped swelling and if you think you have them flushed and more importantly the smoke is good. lots of people cut the tops first because they mature first. I cut all the nice buds and use all the sweet leaf trim and small popcorn buds for hash. It wouldn't hurt to let the bottoms go another week.
