Not sure you will get the same heat load with a 6 cob fixture running vero 29's C's in a 3x3. It would put out over 1000 ppfd @ 1050 ma. But you are going from 1 cob a sq ft with a 2x2=4 sq ft with 4 cobs to a 3x3 that is 9 sq ft with 6 cobs. so that drops it to .667 cobs per sq ft. So it for sure will run hotter than what you are used to. To match your old set up 1 cob per sq ft would more than likely have to be used.Still haven't decided... I'm having a hard time with understanding the tech, but now I think I get it. more or less
I'm thinking to go for 6 cobs @ 3x3, using cxb3590 [CXB3590-0000- 000N0HCD35G] or the Vero29 [BXRC-35E10K0-C-7X10] run at
The goal is to get the most ppfd per buck for my space. Should I go for two 3-cob fixtures on seperate drivers or one for all 6?
Which driver/s would be best? Trying to be in the 900-1200 ppfd range. That's essential.
Please help guys, I really need a clear answer bacause I'm struggling with this for weeks.. I don't care about the life of the lamp, I want it to be in ~3/5 degrees celsious to ambient temps.
My awesome Tasty LED T2-2100 on cxb's put out 954 ppfd @ 2x2 and I didn't need to get additional fan cooling in that small tent. It ran at 2.1amps providing 50% emitter efficiency using hlg-240h-c2100b per 2 cxb cobs @75W each. I want to replicate that setup and power with a new fixture for 3x3.
