unrelated to my earlier post regarding the yellowing of leafs w/ brown spots on autoflowering AK47 & WW, I have another plant (unknown type), which is also autoflowering. It was planted in mid April on fresh potting soil and also lives in a 3 gallon pot. Watering scheme: about a gallon of water (just enough for some spill out at the bottom holes) with a little bit of fertilizer (MiracleGo 20-20-20, about 1/4 of the recommended amount) every time the pots are getting light (I checked the ph level a couple of times, its about 6.5-7 with the fertilizer). Several weeks ago the plant started to develop violet tips and a lighter green color (before, the color was a very dark green) on the rest of the leafs. Given the time, we plan on harvesting soon, but I was curious what you guys think might have been the problem, just for next time.
Also, we live in a fairly humid climate and the above plant has also some issues with bud rot (so far I carefully cut the affected areas off, which seem to work for the moment). Do you have a recommendation, what we could use to prevent that in the future? We grow outdoors in our garden and do not have a greenhouse available. If possible, we would prefer organic/biological solutions.
