Ha! We will see. They are my practice seeds and I’ll see where they go. My real seeds are in the mail! Some AMS white widow extreme, Northern Berry and some Northern Skunk (peekseedsbc).they will die within a week
Next post? "Is this a deficiency or what?"I’ve upgraded them to the “general purpose” feeding schedule (GH Flora) so let’s see how they do. The recommended mix gives me 850ppm. That seems high to me but here goes the practice part.
Why not just run what you have going. Death can come fast in hydro so it’s better to run some mystery stuff rather than the other. Get your grow done the first round. Also on the clay did you rinse them really well? I have a huge mesh laundry bag I use and rinse with my water hose til the water is clean coming off. It can take 10-15 mins for that to happen. Then you need to soak them in a bucket of ph’d water for at least 24 hrs before using them.So I got some quality seeds today! I'm wondering what would others do. Should I grow these mystery plants out? They are almost 3 weeks old. Do they look big enough for 3 weeks?
I don't want to waste time and resources on poor quality plants, if that's what these look like. I am too inexperienced to tell. Thanks for the advise.
I guess they are healthy looking and growing well. I just got excited when the seeds arrived in the mail! I mean, when you think about it like this; seeds from a quality seed provider with great genetics vs free seeds given away by the hundreds/thousands. The free seeds may be good, or great or just plain fine. But I'm positive the seeds from Peak Seeds will be kick ass.Why not just run what you have going. I’ve ran plenty of free stuff given to me over the past few years from guys I know or freebies from ordering seeds. I’ve also gotten some shifty genetics from seed banks so it’s a toss up. There are some “breeders” that don’t breed properly just throw pollen around just to see what happens. Then charge for obscene amounts. Never heard of peak seeds but I looked to see what I could find online and if it’s the one I found that apparently does spore and seeds it looks shifty.I guess they are healthy looking and growing well. What I was trolling for I suppose was a judgment on the potential of the "mystery" plants at this age. Or can such a judgement be made? The only thing I conclude is they are indeed an Indica and not a hemp sativa.
Yes with the pellets. I rinsed them well but did not soak. I get that done from now on.
You say this with such certainty. Yet years ago before they gave away high CBD strains there was one year, maybe the first, they had an option. You could get hemp seeds and or lush seeds. These are said just seeds.Dana only ever gave away hemp seeds so you're growing hemp that farmers would grow if you got them in the Overgrow promotion. Max about 6%CBD and near zero THC. I was going to get some but want higher CBD and already have plants doing that.
Don't expect to get high.
Some hemp varietals have pretty fat leaves so that's not really a positive indicator but does lend credence to it being a non-hemp strain. Hope it is so you get some goody out of them! Also, are they not obviously a non sativa or at least a hybrid of indica?
