You gotta exit more heat instead of trying to pump cool air in. Try isolating the bulb like make it a cool tube idea, and you'll notice huge improvements.Anyone???????????????????????
Cool idea.Or if you have access to plexi glass, make that the roof of your tent, and have the light in the top portion, and have a seperate ventalation for just the light.
It works amazingly well.Cool idea.
But won't venting out a lot of heat mean that you're going to get a lot of smelliness? Or is this where you'd put a filter or something in?It works amazingly well.
In my experience so far smelliness has not been an issue for me. However no, just because you vent more doesn't mean your have more smell. But won't venting out a lot of heat mean that you're going to get a lot of smelliness? Or is this where you'd put a filter or something in?
Maybe it's just not a problem?
Why does the bulb burn out pre mature?Id buy a nice reflecter and a piece of glass, this will stop your heat stress.Cool tubes suck, they burn bulbs premature and dont spread the light downward
No...it actually does the opposite.this could be a stupid question lol .... putting glass in front of the bulb ---- would that magnify the light ?----------- similar to like burning ants with a magnifying glass ??
glass would refelct... a magnefine glass wounldntNo...it actually does the opposite.
Your all wrong. A convex lense is what magnifies light. And a Concave glass lense would to the oppiset, Strait glass does not do the oppiset.glass would refelct... a magnefine glass wounldnt
It filters out some light...reducing the overall light penetration. Right? Sorry i'm not a genius...but i always like to learn new things.Your all wrong. A convex lense is what magnifies light. And a Concave glass lense would to the oppiset, Strait glass does not do the oppiset.
A strait sheet of glass that's flaw free will reflect a very very small amount of light, not enough to make any difference to the plants.
Perhaps, on a minute measurable level but not big enough to make a difference. It filters out some light...reducing the overall light penetration. Right? Sorry i'm not a genius...but i always like to learn new things.
