Has anyone got any suggestions on keeping heat and humidity stable my temps range between 25c and 28c and my humidity ranges between 38% and 55%

I have never found a solution for the heat... mine ranges between 20-26.
my humidity was the other way... between 60-75% which was ok through the grow but had to get a de-humidifier for dry as it’s in same tent and that’s now stabilised at 55% thankfully.
I’d suggest a humidifier for the grow but your already touch and go with heat and that may raise it more? Maybe a couple of oscillating fans aswell?

I've got a extraction fan and carbon filter and a dehumidifier I run the fan for like 5 mins and the humidity goes from 55% into the 30s it does go back up into the 50s I was just wondering if such a big drop would harm my plants in any way
Are you in veg or flower? 55% is perfectly legit for veg. It's slightly high for flower (50% is most people's maximum). You can reduce the risk of the tad high humidity by ensuring good airflow within and under the canopy of your plants.

I've got one oscalating fan in there would the temps and humidity fluctuations harm the plants in any way they go down when running the extraction fan but go back up when it's not running

It's not optimal to have them swing, but relatively small up and downs is fine. It's better to have a wave of slight ups and downs than it is to have your temp or humidity run amok way out of range.

Also how often should I run my extraction fan I've been turning it on for 5-10 mins every hour is that enough or should I be doing it more often

Both intake and outtake fans run 24/7 in my tent. I adjust the needs of the tent with the variable speed control.

I've not got a fan controller at the moment I've ordered one so just waiting for it to arrive if I run my fan for 24/7 I'm going to struggle with the heat and humidity I'm growing under a led so my lights not kicking off a lot of heat and I run my fan for 5 mins and the humidity drops from 55% into the 30s should I get a humidity controller and a humidifier and set it to turn on once the humidity drops to say 40% would that work??

Should run 24/7. If you dont have a speed controller for it, get one. Typical small tents dont need to run any where near 100% but it should be on all the time.

It probably will and honestly i say 30% humidity is uncomfortably low for human life, i like 40%. But weed will most definitely grow just fine at 30%. Better to low than to high.
