I seen a picture of a tent but now its gone was that yours? If so that filter is definitely to small for that fan. When fans arent moving enough air, they sort of "stall out" and even tough they are spinning, they move very little air. Looks like you connected a 4'' filter to a 6'' fan? I connect 8'' filters to 6'' fans to make sure they dont have to work to hard to move air.
You would have to program that thing to run something that would theoretically control humidity but you dont seem to have a real solution to humidity.

It's a 5inch fan and a 5 inch filter I bought it as a kit

It's blowing air fine it's like a gale force wind when it's on lol

That filter is realllly small (super short) i doubt the fan is pulling much air through it.

Well then leave it on? Speed controller will get things running just right for you.

I'm waiting for the fan controller to turn up I've ordered one hopefully be here tomorrow

If I leave it on my humidity levels will be way to low I have it running for 10 mins and they drop 25%

25% is ok. The humidity wont get any lower than whatever it is in your house.
