Now that we know who voted for the HR3692 we need to picked the places that they frequent.
We need to let them know that very soon- in the near future they are no longer going to be in office.
We must also begin picketing the places frequented by certain Senators who my vote this thing in for Obama to sign.

All our words and efforts fell on the deaf ears of those who were to have read the bill.

Now we must tell them personally- again and again.

It's coming down to the point that somebody is going to ruin their life by taking a shot at one of these sightless public servants.

There must be, we must provide another way for people to vent. Bullets are not the answer. Violently attacking 'them' is not the answer.

Public ostracizing is- in my opinion.

Make that member of the House regret the day, the very moment he/she ever signed such a piece of trash as this.

They are slipping the shackles on us. What will you do???!!!

I vote for revolving picket parades until all our Senators know what will be instore for them if they too sign off on this piece of legislative tripe.

No I think your dead wrong on this Med.
People two to one believe its the economy not healthcare that is the main problem right now.
Tax increases durring a resession on small buisness will see unemployment numbers skyrocket.
When Obama is running in 2011 unemployment will probably be sitting at about 15%.
(.2% per month)
Those are numbers that people care about.
The majority (IMO) is well aware that lower taxes (and spending this time) will create real jobs.

Cap and trade and the health care bill will sink the DEMs in 2010 and Obama in 2012.
Even if they were the best ideas in the world this is the worst time for them.
The Dems are torpedoing these bills through because they know they will not get the chance again.

Obama inherited this mess from Dubya
Tax increases durring a resession on small buisness will see unemployment numbers skyrocket.
Tax increases on the top 10 percent, the ones that dubya gave 1.5 trillion to.
When Obama is running in 2011 unemployment will probably be sitting at about 15%.

Agreed, but again, the situation was precipitated by Dubya.
The majority (IMO) is well aware that lower taxes (and spending this time) will create real jobs
Yeah, look what it did for us under Dubya, we're still paying for those tax cuts in job loss and everything else. When you give away 1/4th of the economy to the rich and expect them to create jobs, I'd say one has to be either an idiot, or crazy, and Dubya was a little of both.

Cap and trade and the health care bill will sink the DEMs in 2010 and Obama in 2012.
I disagree. This is needed legislation and it will improve our air and lessen CO and Hydrocarbons.
Even if they were the best ideas in the world this is the worst time for them.

Exactly, one has to make hay while the sun shines. Your side sneaked the tax cuts for the rich in while the public was entranced with the war shit.

Well thanks, SS ... and I feel what you're saying. I have a lot of faith in my fellow Americans though. Just look at the frustration being exhibited in just this one thread ... and this is coming from a bunch of fellow stoners.

A week ago Thursday, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann asked people to show up in Washington to protest the bill ... and 30,000 people showed up on such short notice. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,572245,00.html The each had a half-page of the bill and were walking through the halls of Congress asking each congress person they ran across to explain the half page to them. That's saying a lot. In spite of that, the bastards still passed the bill. When 2010 and 2012 comes along, they will regret that decision. There is a conservative/libertarian movement a-brewin' ... :)
It's gonna be a smack down! But will the new public servants fix/restore/repeal anything?? I don't think so. No administration has ever gutted what the previous one did.

Remember Liberals/Progressives people voted for Obama IMO not because he was liberal.
But because he was not Bush.
Bush policies are all still mostly in effect.
Rendition, Gitmo, the Wars, patriot act, demestic spying, all that is still happening.
Only now the economy is imploded unemployment is at 10.2% (and rising by .2% per month)
And your boy wants to raise taxes on small buisness the heart of our job market.

So yes IMO the republicans could sweep in 2010 and 2012.
If they play their cards right that is.
But they better start picking canidates that back their own party platform not the Dems platform.
Or 2010 will look like NY-23 all over the place.
The party base will shoot down its own canidates mark my words.

Michael Steale and the Republican Party had better pull its head out of its ass and soon.

I have been a Conservative for the past 30+ years.. The GOP is dead, the Republicon party is obsolete, and President Obama and the Democrats are pounding the final nail into the GOP coffin with this health care bill.

The public option isn't going to happen and neither is cap and trade. Obama is not going to run for re-election, he never intended to. He can't run again because by then a number of states will have passed laws requiring candidates to produce birth certificates and obviously he can't do that.

Obama has done shot his wad. He is over.

why are we still fighting over Rep's and Dem's they are the same. neither will do anything to fix what is wrong. if you always do what you have always done. you get what you always got. reps are just riding the coattails of the public so they can win the next election. so they can fuck something up.

All true! But as long as the media blackballs and shuts out all Independents and third party candidates nothing will change.

They are the PR department for Globalism and economic slavery.

If they keep the facts/evidence/truth away from the minds of the public- what do you get??
Answer: people who are just stupid enough to pull the vote lever for one of their puppets.

Until we overthrow the mainstream press (as it stands now) we won't be able to get the word out. We will be at a disadvantage to shine the light on lies. And that's just the way they want it.

We must have another PR Network so that the people can gain the fact based education they need/must have.

you are correct but alot of ppl will vote their party no matter what. we have to get out of the mind set of one party or the other. ppl see the truth but do not want to believe it or as i call it the ostridge syndrome. they put their head in the sand and hope they are good.

Quack - Thump - Quack - Thump

That's a lame duck for those in RioLinda. I think dems get clocked next year. They might keep both houses nominally but their ability to pass what Obama wants is over. We get congressional gridlock in which nothing is done. That is actually the best we can hope for.

I predict Biden steps down soon (supposedly for health reasons) and Hillary becomes vp. Obama shrugs and lets her run foreign policy while he concentrates on fashioning his next role as defacto leader of black america and what he hopes will be a new rainbow coalition. He believes he can weild more power from outside the whitehouse, and he may be right.

the public option won't happen soon because of some moderate dems....

but if those moderate "dems" want to keep the support of their party they better adjust their point of view...

this health care overhaul has to happen and a few people in the senate who have conflicting priorities can't be what holds it up....

this is going to happen, it's only a matter of time....
