projecting your faults onto others is seriously self demeaning

your making yourself look stupid, when everyone who hangs out in this section already knows you have no input to offer, other than negative opinions

oh lets not forget the insults

lots of those bad boys too

i have debated many a RIUer, the evidence of that is all over the politics section

you on the other hand, have never had a debate

you exhange insults, or just stuff like "no your wrong" without anything to back it up

the people of roll it up have seen you for what you are, and your not even taken seriously anymore

your eagerness to insult i find rather amusing, as it shows lack of self esteem
Some people just want to come one here to stir up shit and start arguments. These same individuals offer nothing in the way of solutions or examples of why their ideas are better. If they are ignored they will get bored and go away. Trolls feed on attention.

And you have the audacity to call everyone you disagree with "trolls". Do you even know WTF a troll is? Look it up, they ought to put your picture right there next to the definition in the dictionary.
let me correct your wrong assumption

people who dont agree with me, upon being asked for any sign of proof to their ridiculously mainstream media brainwashed views, provide none

yet continue to spout the vomit

that is a troll

some one who disagrees with anyone and everyone just for the sake of argument, is a troll

I know. She makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. My dog starts barking and growling at the tv whenever she comes on.

I'm actually stoked.
Massive tax increase on small buisnesses.
Unemployment already at 10.2 (real number is 17.5)
Isn't it just commen knowledge you don't raise taxes durring a resession?
Obama and Dem control is a short term problem IMO.

If we want to turn the economy around we will need massive tax cuts.
We can't borrow anymore either, debt is way to high.
The problem is the Republicans have a track record of cutting taxes but not spending.
They love their big government as much as the Dems just in diffrent ways.

We need a new way out of this mess.
The answer does not spring forth from government.
It will come from freedom.
The more free we are the more prosperous we will be.

Ilkhan ...

Great post. :)

Its a little publicized fact that millions of Americans are upside down with the IRS. That's why we're seeing so many attorneys advertising on TV offering to represent these Americans and to get them some tax relief. I honestly believe that the road to freedom, and the pathway to getting the federal government under control again, is a massive tax revolt. Can you imagine if 50 to 100 million Americans were to just throw up their hands and say:" Screw this, I can't afford it and I'm just not going to send it in anymore?"

Congress has made it very obvious by passing the health care bill that our liege lords don't respect the Constitution ... so why should the citizens respect the 16th Amendment?

The health care bill will fail in the Senate. Count on it.

I have been noticing all those commercials and wondering "Are there really that many people in trouble with the IRS"? Obviously with that much money being put into advertising there must be. I hope you are right about the senate not passing the bill. We cannot afford it!

AMMUNITION ANYONE ? WERE DO I GO WITH THIS SHIT, DO I HIDE ? CRUSADE ? FIGHT ? or let it grow. It's already happend so lets quit crying and participate as centered citizens who know how broken the system really is and rejoice in the fact that the welfare recipients in charge of the whole mess are at least doing something even if it turns out to be just another failed government distaster. For all you people who have no preexisting conditions or are not paying for your own healthcare, I waste precious time even talking to you. At least we collectively know that there is a major problem !! History does not have to repeat itself. Everyday is a new day.

vi and ilk, great posts. i sure hope you are both right and the revolt happens soon. this debt and the devaluation of the $ are really scary.

there are not enough educated people who have any clue what happens when all this stuff kicks in. i would be willing to bet that less than 10% of schools teach anything about the collapse of an economy. and a lot of the reason obama got in was because of the young (uneducated)voters.

the good news is that many economies that have collapsed have returned. the bad news? they returned in large part because the american economy bailed them out with loans, military protection and such. i am not sure there is an economy big enough to bail us out. and i am damn sure that most others would like to see us fail.

Vi, you've been a reasonably great poster ever since I joined these boards... this post was one of those great ones. Unfortunately I don't believe Americans could ever stand up as they once did and revolt, they're too complacent now, all I can think of is not something I'd post anywhere on the internet.

Now that we know who voted for the HR3692 we need to picked the places that they frequent.
We need to let them know that very soon- in the near future they are no longer going to be in office.
We must also begin picketing the places frequented by certain Senators who my vote this thing in for Obama to sign.

All our words and efforts fell on the deaf ears of those who were to have read the bill.

Now we must tell them personally- again and again.

It's coming down to the point that somebody is going to ruin their life by taking a shot at one of these sightless public servants.

There must be, we must provide another way for people to vent. Bullets are not the answer. Violently attacking 'them' is not the answer.

Public ostracizing is- in my opinion.

Make that member of the House regret the day, the very moment he/she ever signed such a piece of trash as this.

They are slipping the shackles on us. What will you do???!!!

I vote for revolving picket parades until all our Senators know what will be instore for them if they too sign off on this piece of legislative tripe.

If a person begins to tell others NOT to pay taxes they will be in major violation of Title 18 US Code. You will be cuffed and stuffed so fast it'll make your head spin. But I do agree with the intended result in a big fat flipp'en way!!
They screwed us- why not screw them. Take away their drugs (money). They need to detox for twenty years anyhow.

Well thanks, SS ... and I feel what you're saying. I have a lot of faith in my fellow Americans though. Just look at the frustration being exhibited in just this one thread ... and this is coming from a bunch of fellow stoners.

A week ago Thursday, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann asked people to show up in Washington to protest the bill ... and 30,000 people showed up on such short notice. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,572245,00.html The each had a half-page of the bill and were walking through the halls of Congress asking each congress person they ran across to explain the half page to them. That's saying a lot. In spite of that, the bastards still passed the bill. When 2010 and 2012 comes along, they will regret that decision. There is a conservative/libertarian movement a-brewin' ... :)

It is not the final bill, we understand this simple fact. Unlike our public servants serving as representatives we actually know how legislation is suppose to be handled. Each person casting their votes to jam through mountains rather than properly scaling them has proven unfit and unable to honor their oath of office. Long overdue is the 'Read the Bills' law and its sister legislation, 'Write the Laws Act.' Each of the 220 votes supporting this method of legislating is hereby put on notice you have earned from your constituents (remember them, you will next year) a right to excel elsewhere.

We are not focusing on the good or bad within this large stack of papers. Why? There is no time allowed for any in-depth consideration or debate on either. Everything those involved in the health care process has argued with one foundational focus, politics. Who will benefit politically? (From G. Wood Radio host )
I would rather believe that the 215 that voted against it may be the ones looking for a new job. All these inflated numbers being brought forth by the conservatives (Birchers) about who is against health care reform, are in a word, crap. There are some things in the bill that I probably would rather not be there, but overall, with the opposition screaming at every portion of the bill, we did the best we could do. The real medical answer would have been single payer. (Remember upstate NY, conservatives got royally bitchslapped).
