*Hawaiian Thunder*

*So here we grow again*
So for the past 4 years I have been in the military, (ARMY, which I am now medicaly ret. Due to getting hit by an IED in Iraq back in 2008 that did one hell of a job on my left knee, thankfully I can still walk), to my luck I got stationed in Hawaii, where as some of u might know from experience has some of the hardest hitting ganja I have ever tryed seen or smelled in my life......I know what some of you are probably thinking, how can I smoke weed in the military and get away with it, well let me tell you guys that their are ways around the piss test, I won't disclose my methods for the sake of my fellow military pot smoker ( though I do not condone the use of any other narcotic). Anyways, getting the MJ is hawaii was the easy part, hell once ur in hawaii u can almost smell it in the air, lol, its everywhere, but obtaining seeds from these potent lil beauties is a different story, atleast it was from the people I bought from was, it was almost impossible to find a seed, after 4 years of service their, not including the tour I did in iraq, I managed to collect a few seeds, about 15, thank god, stems were just as hard to come by as well, thank god for that as well. So their is the story of how I came accross these precious lil gods gift to earth. Just incase you guys were wondering,

******So here is the set up*******
2 600w HPS for light, one red inhanced spc. For budding and one blue inhanced spc. For veging
1 600w digital ballast
3 of Hawaii's finest seeds (not sure of the indica sativa ratio yet, but will after a week or 2 of vegging)
And for the nuts, only the best for these lil babies, the fox farm trio pack ( FFBB,FFTB,& FFGB)
As for the soil, I'm didipointed at the moment. Since I don't have a hydro shop anywhere around, I was forced to order my soil as well as my nutes, the nutes came in as planed and lightining quick. But they sent me the wrong damn bag of soil,
I ordered FFOF but the fuckers sent me FFWL(warrior light) which actually is great soil for seedlings and young MJ plants, so I decided to keep it and start my grow with the WL then transplant to the OF when the time is right. Turns out it kinda worked out.

So their you have it, my full set up, it may not be perfect to some but has worked wonders for me in the past....Now my lil girls have already sprouted and 2 are about 3" right now, the last one seems to have be stunted for some reason or another, but still looks healthy and alive so I'm not worrying just yet, sorry I can't post any pic's right now for I just moved back home and won't have internet on a computer for hopefully no more them 2 weeks, then I will get you guys some pics,
But believe it or not I'm useing my cell phone for the internet, it sucks ass but it works, just won't let me put pics up on here from my phone.....so hang in their and soon enuff I will unveil my lil beauties to the world.

Ok so here are the Pic's of my now, *2* plants. the one that wasent looking so good at start finally shit out on me so, havent even really started and already lost one.
The second one is of my deformed plant, she still looks healthy though so im not to worried.

So I made a thread asking about my deformed baby, and to my suprise, I have what is called a triploid. Which (by what i was told) should produce a much much higher yeild because of a weird genetic trait that makes the plant grow 3 leaf sets instead of 2 thier for giving more bud sites to grow. So I went from just hoping it gives me something to, damn! go figure.........anyways, dont know if anyone is even reading this but if you are wish me luck..and my luck i dont mean on the plant, i mean on the right soil gettting here soon because im having bad bad PH problems with this punk ass MG soil. PLZ HURRY FOX FARM!!!!!!!!

i feel like my child is on life support waiting on a heart transplant, lol...though its not really funny...

post new picts as soon as it grows to see how it goes, I am really curious about this triploid... and if it is a genetic mutation that gives a higher yield then why don't they try to get seeds like that? (if it is genetic the seeds should have it too...)

Hi mate, The tri leaf is indeed a mutation. Its a rare plant form. Sorry i forget what they call it. But i have see one before. And from what i read about it, your going to get a very nice plant with lots of budding. If you can, your going to want to take clones and regrow these for future grow's. Fucking stoked you have one at such an early stage. im defo subbed for this.... Dan

GREEN!!!.....we got da best shit ova hea i agree but finding bagseeds is a bitch which is good quality wise....many guys operating indoor these days due to weed and seed heliz making dealers tight on seeds too......most dealers dont pay much attention to strain ova hea.... either its DA CRIP or REGz.... lineage of plants is unknown......i jus put in orders for some bubblegum, mango, orange bud seeds cuz i like em SWEEET!!!....journal and pics as soon as babies cum in....keep up da good work hoping to see ur progress!!!

Eh bra just to let u kno.... theres a store in Kahala called Hawaiian Hydroponics ...in a shoppin center right across the mall.....small store but they have everything u need!!!

I would love nothing more then to go their but im not on the island any more, im back home on the main land. i was just luckey enuff to find a couple of seed to take home with me to share the beautiful smoke of hawaii. hopefully im a good enuff parent to these lil girls to make as good or better of smoke then what i smoke in hawaii. cuz damn that shit tasted soooo sweet and got you soooooo high i felt like a astronaut

So here is a up date, and a little story, so my Fox Farm Ocean Forrest finally came in and they have had their final transplant. Pic 1 & 2 are of the triploid, it is doing ok, the last soil nute burned it abit but i think i got her in the right bed now so she should start looking better soon, and as for pic 3, that is of my normal plant and it got real bad nute burn but again, think i got to her in time, i think she will make a fast recovery.....

I will post new pics as soon as they start looking better or in a week, which ever comes first..

Don't give any nutes for like 3-4 weeks, you will notice when they start to need food. The FFOF has enough nutes in it for the 3-4 weeks

I have a triploid as wel.. It is about 4-5 inches tall, under 12/12 cause thats all I do.. I found the mutation when I sprouted 6 seeds.. 5 were normal, one was a triploid... I think they are good luck, as a single plant that I had been growing showed female a few days after I found the triploid.. I hope its a female and grows you a great yield..

But not near as proud of her and i am of my other girl, my triploid has simply exploded this past week. go back and look at my last weeks pics compared to this weeks..and its because this week they had Fox Farm Ocean Forrest!!!!

But i think iv got a good idea now of their indica/sativa ratio...im gonna say 70% indica 30% sativa, idk, maybe a lil more indica..anyone out their with a better opinion???

I already whant to put more pics up, i just put some up yesterday but they have alreay grown 3cm since yesterday.
My triploid is getting soo bushy so fast, i might send them into flowering sooner then i thought...

Sounds good dude, it's good that it's bushy. It will stretch like crazy for the first 25 or so days of 12 12 though. A strong plant in veg makes ALL the difference in flowering.

Be prepared for it to grow 3x its size from veg though. Do all the cutting/training you want to do on it in veg, like 2 weeks before you go 12/12. You want to set your plant up so it just grows in flowering, stress will reduce your yield.
