Trying not 2 put pics up back 2 back so you can see the plants progression real clear, so by tomarrow
you should be able to see a big difference. I'm also thinking about going into flowering soon maybe
nexy Friday....not sure though, anyone elce with an opinion?

What are your concerns with flowering? It's entirely up to you dude, just don't get too excited and go in before your ready.

And I wouldn't worry about the pics back to back dude I can just scroll through and check the progress

my ONLY, concern, with flowering is getting a big enuff yeild to make this grow worth my while....i mean they are indica's so im expecting a decent yeild, but i only have one HPS bulb, and im wanting to get atleast 3oz's.
and i have 2 plants

These first 5 of are my triploid which as exploded in growth this past week and is still going strong after i toped it the day befor yesterday and now going strong into week 4, she has keep her 3 sets of leaves growth which most said would grow out of it and revert back to growing 2 sets like a normal plant, but she is hanging in there.

And here are a couple of pics of my other normal Hawaii indica plant.she looks healthier then my triploid but hasent grown as fast as she did.

So i decided to send them into flowering in 2 weeks making me veg them for 6 weeks(June, 16 ill go 12/12). And then the exciting part begins!!!!! So check out the pics and tell me what you guys think so far.

I sure hope so verde!!! but i havent even really thought about the buds yet, what im worried about is which one of these plants are gonna be male!!!! or are they both males!!! AAAAAAHHHH, oh god!!! what a nightmare that would be!!! That would be a sad sad day in my book...

Chillll dude Don't worry about it. Finding a male isn't a big problem, finding bugs eating your plants flowers 8 weeks into flowering is a problem

Even if its a male, you could just order some feminized seeds, and use your new knowledge to create a KICK ass plant that grows twice as fast.

Correct me if I'm wrong Hatter, but the seeds are from Hawaii. Not the grow.

verde you are correct.

The seeds came from hawaii when i was living their. just keep ahold of some seeds from the bud's down their. and the bud down their will blow your mind. shit is fire!!!

So i'v decided that I probably dont have the room to wait for 2 weeks until flowering. My earlyer plans were to wait till june,16th till flowering but at the rate these plants are growing i dont think i will have the room. But righ now my tallest plant (the triploid) is at 9"inches. And I dont want them over a foot befor i put them into flowering so, I guess were just gonna play this one by eye.
so i will either put them into flowering in 2 weeks or when they reach a foot tall, which ever comes first!!

Could you grow it out a little bit, then take a few clones, let it recover and then flower it? Or does a plant need to be pretty big to take clones? I don't really know, I never actually did much reading on the specifics of cloning. It's worth a look though.

That way you won't loose the strain, and you can just flower the clones later.

ya, with crazy genes like that. i would take about 1000 clones, male or not. =p mix that with some of my blueberry.. omnomnom. talk about side branches z0mg

I wish I could take some clones off this one and grow more of her, but i just dont have the money or the room to set up another grow...so i think the genes of these plants dies here at my house, lol....it will be ok, thier is far better genes out there then what im working with, next grow im gonna order seeds..what i really want to grow is "Brainstorm Haze" by delta 9 labs..read about it in high times and DAMN. its a long long flowering sativa but very good high and sweet delicious tast...i want!!!!!!

*ok so here is a up date on my girls. their in day 30 from sprout, and my triploid is in day 4 i think since i topped her and my normal plant got topped yesterday!! so here they are, tell me what you think**


Here is my triploid, she is looking good after 4 days after being topped, she is growing like a weed!! hehehe, sorry for the lame joke..


and here is my normal plant, i topped her yesterday...she looks to be handeling it great!!!!

what do you guys think??? and for an update on the set up for those of you that dont read the intro just skipp to the last page:
600w HPS for whole grow
fox farm ocean forrest
temp stays around 85degrees F
water only about 2 times a week tops
and only water with PH around 6.5 to 6.9
and i will be useing fox farm nutes with the time is right!!!

What node did you end up topping at??

Also those plants are looking stretched, but I'm guessing thats the HPS during veg effect.


I don't know if i've showed you this but below is my plant in veg, using CFLs using the correct spectrum

But those leafs definitely look nice and chunky.

You should look into foliar feeding.

This is an awesome thread. I'm really diggin' this triploid.

Ok so my 2 girls have been basking in the bright sun today and looking amazing!!And like i said befor, i was think about sending them into floweing when they reached 1ft. well that was 3 days ago and their alreay at 13inches, thats 4 inches in 3 days. damn...so i think im gonna wait till they get about 15 to 16inch, because i dont want them getting over 3ft really. I think Iv decided to call this strand "CannaBLISS" but the real name will come when i smoke it...might hold onto the name CannaBLISS till i creat a strand i like!!!...Stay tooned for pic's...not today tho!!
