well I had for years, and still can't wait. In a couple days here I will be.

BUT I wanted to pose to you guys an opportunity to get answers to questions and stuff - as well as help me brainstorm shit I should be thinking about.

Details???!?!???!!?

What kind of tests or experiments are you going to explore?

should get to play with both the gas spectrograph and the high pressure liquid chromatography machines

tests for pesticides, fungi, molds, potency levels,

this is why i made the thread, there must be more to test for! lol

(in my research tonight I have learned of CBNRA and no effing clue what it does... but i did find out Al-Razi Persian physician from the 10th century said a topical made from the leaves will allay baldness and graying.)

Cannabinoid profile?
oh yes - of course! - but my issue with it, or something i have no clue about.

How many cannabinoids and other compounds does it "look" for -flavonoids? (considering cannabinoids are cannabis specific flavonoids it should be able to test for a lot)

not just THC CBN and CBD -but many growers are still... "omg mah TEE-AYCH-SEA is so Hai!"

Delta9 THC, Delta9 THCA , Delta8 THC, Delta8 THCA, CBD, CBDA, CBN, CBD, CBGA, CBC, CBCA, and THCV are fairly common cannabinoids to test for.

mhmm and now the elusive CBNRA, have yet to find much about it. I'm wondering though about the flavonoids, and their concentrations and then mixing them with other flavonoid/cannabnioids combos, like d limonene, pinene, here is why and a good list of their companions. http://www.micannalytics.com/learn/Terpenes-Entourage/OS-2011-Terpenes-Minor-CBs.pdf

-my goal has been using diet and the cannabis use to effectively use the totality of the plant and our bodies for the best possible harm reduction (reference to Dr. Melamede) with is an antioxidant rich punch to the body. very soon will i get to start some real tests on variety of solvents and the effectiveness of treatments too. in my estimation, we can reduce cannabinoid use in RSO or other forms by at least 30 percent just by increasing flavonoids and proper diet.

there is more to it than just the CB1 and CB2 ---CBD antagonizes minorly on cb2 at best - it really activates VR1, the vanilloid receptor which predates the CB receptors. -same one for capsaicin and vanilla as you would have assumed... lol

You may find this interesting , Cinnamon , my older brother in Ohio had called me on my birthday last week ( big 70 ) , first time that happened in 40 or 50 years , I missed his call so I called him back to see if he had an extra car I could use for my search for a place in MI to start my MM project , he knew nothing about MM so I sent him some links to read , but anyway he told me he was waiting for his Cinnamon to come , I think he said it was coming from Lios ? He said it was not like the Cinnamon we use , normally I would have thought it was a con job someone was working but anymore I’m not sure , When I first heard about MM 20 years ago I thought that was a con Job and now I think completely the other way . And thanks for any and all help .

if you can find a way to accutately test the relative concentration of canabanoids from a plant sample that'd be handy. if you got almost no resin you can still score a 23% THC but you got shit for your gram....or at least that's what I have heard.
