Hash in a freebase pipe

I've always smoked my concentrates in a freebase pipe with a torch lighter. Apparently this isn't a very common method. It always seemed like one of the most efficient methods available because the control of airflow & indirect heating that provides for a gradual transition from vaporization temperatures into smouldering temperature.

I don't understand why more people don't smoke their hash this way. Is it just the stigma of having having what are usually assumed to be methhead/crackhead tools or is there any other concievable reason for not smoking hash this way?

PS Not sure if this is the proper forum, plz move if not.

As long as your smokage is green there is no worries about smoking like "crackhead"

in fact that method of hash smoking you got going on sounds pleasantly fun and cough-fest 2013

pics?

I do. Most smoke shops will try to sell crack pipes for oil so I don't think its that uncomm n. But in my area nobody smokes oil so that's bout all they carry, no nails and such

thats not uncommon at all... i mean as far as smoking concentrates and hash through waterpipes goes, basically 90% of Sheldon Blacks bubblers are meant to be used with the indirect heat method. have you ever seen the Sheldon Black top hat dabber slide? pretty sweet innovative piece.
