Thanks man !!Fantastic job! Be proud.
No idea on the strain, so many crosses these days.
Thanks bro, feeling excited.Nice job
I am Not good enough to tell you whether to chop or not
Very nice plant tho
Yes bro, i think it would have been far better if i had 200 - 300 watts light from seed. But i am happy for my dream of growing came true. I will be improving in future. Organic was the only option because i dont have synthetic cannabis nutrients available where i live. May be i will wait for another week Looking forward to harvest. will surely update here. You did a good job considering your lighting. I'm glad to hear you used organics too.
I might still wait a week if there's no amber.

Thanks bro, i have already used my kitchen waste compost in this grow. Will make organic teas for second growI run organic teas and whatnot. You should check into composting or vermicomposting if you don't have nutes.
Overall though, solid work.
Hey kingrow1, this information was helpful, i was also thinking the same thing, what if they never go amber ? May be its growing new pistils from stress and not wanting to die ? Yeah i know its not perfect but who would expect perfection from first grow. So i think am going to cut her down at the end of 9th week.I would strongly advise against magnifying trichs unless the plant grew stress free and pretty stella, it wont help matters in this case just confuse and maybe they just stay milky and never change or whatever.
I feel like it was probably more done or ready for harvest before that new growth appeared. Maybe more appears after that idk but this is far from perfect so shit happens.
You should make a call, either wait and pray she ripens up this new growth or cut your looses if it keeps going downhill.
Advice more to save not perfect i feel, sorry it isnt more positive![]()

thanks man, but as i stated its already been 9 weekks, if i wait 2 more weeks that would be 11 weeks of flowering ? Do you think it should take this long ? I dont have problem waiting a little more. But i am afraid it will never change the trichome colour.. i also see new pistils coming out lately which i think is not normal. So i guess i am a bit confused hereWhile it may not be perfect, it doesn't look bad at all for a first grow nice job it's still alive!!
Personally looking at the whole plant and the closer bud shots I really think this plant needs 2-2.5 more weeks. The bracts don't appear to be swollen at all, though it's tough to tell with out a good close up. Cannabis plants put on a noteable amount of weight the last 2ish weeks of growth. I've watched buds get heavier and bend over sturdy branches in a matter of 2-3 days even. It's also during this period when they typically do most of the maturing.
So while I know how hard it is to wait for your crop I would encourage it.

Yeah I was counting my flower time from when I flipped to 12/12. So I beleive you are correct. i should not count preflowering stage into flowering time. According to that, my plant is going to enter 8th week now so yeah i will wait and give it another week or two and see what happens. But all you have said has really made me understand things. Thanks alot broYes it absolutely can take that long lol. Especially since you stressed the plant which can slow growth. Some strains take 15-20 weeks....
Also are you counting you flower time from when you flipped the lights or from when the plant began to actually show flowers?
FLOWERING begins when the plants start to make flowers!! It takes 7-14 days typically for the plants to TRANSITION to flowering from veg. Until you see flowers start the plant isn't flowering. So your plant most likely has only been flowering for 7-8 weeks.....
How many days or weeks a plant takes are totally irrelevant though because your environment and care will drastically impact how long it takes for a plant to fully mature.
Many people try to justify cutting plants early by saying "the stigma won't ever change" or "the trichomes won't ever change" but those things happening are rare if you grow properly.
Obviously it's your first grow you have a lot to learn, and I know I've cut many plants before the optimal time over the years. Early on I was because I didn't know any better, but even once I did sometimes you still choose to cut plants early because you know they have issues. Harvesting lots of plants at of different strains and ages is the best way to learn. I've been growing since 2005 and have harvested well over 1000 plants just from my personal grow.

Yup that difference is very significant. Well you guys have convinced me to give it 2 weeks more. Its better to wait than to loose.2 day difference.

you can see the transformation of what harvesting too soon can result in. if you look at the lower bud sites on both they are smaller then they are now. these plants will end week 6 since flip tomorrow. i plan to run them another 2-4 weeks.
pistils are slightly behind yours though i'd say about.. 40% is orange still a bunch of white ones. the grower guide on this states 6-8 weeks of flowering i don't consider flowering until after the stretch but when i log it i only count day 1 when i flip for easier tracking
