Pretty Funny.. Good to know So what you are saying is to flush the rest of the way with plain water and chop when ready.. Seems logical..

Side note-Cant wait to explain this process to my Fathers Hippie High School Buddy whos been growing greenhouse schwag since the late 70's in SOuthern Oregon .

No flush , flush , hang, bag, hang, bag, jar.... Bake......So F'ng excited I , a heavy heavy heavy 247 stoner am holding out from puffing... well after today until these babies are at least 5 days into cure and then taste each one of the 4 strains and have my ice cream ready.....

U can start microwaving n smoking now if u wanna get hi...it works...I always do it...just throw a few popcorn buds...not importantvbuds...in the microwave for 10-12 second intervals til crispy...letting cool for one minute in between each zap...it'll get u baked

and what about now ?

Now they are sitting in jars.

I special ordered half gallon mason jars. Very cool for curing.

I have had to kinda wing it, but ordered a new excalibur hygrometer.
(I killed my previous one in a mushroom greenhouse :0) This digital
device will fit inside my curing jars and will give me much more accurate
moisture readings.

Good luck, the patience is hard. I am enjoying tasting things as they go.

P.S. Basically, the bags allow for a controlled moisture loss, as the moisture
has to escape the bag and as a result the atmosphere around the buds has
a higher moisture level which retards water evaporating from the buds. I am
probably over-thinking it, but it works as a nice transition between hanging
in the tent and the jars.

yes i do. where i am the buds dry quickly.

So on a few of mt cops new leaves sprouted and white pistils came shotting out this AM even though A lot of the plant is amber pistils already...

I have not watered since Wednesday night and when I do it tonight I WILL NOT BE using any flush solution. Pure rev osm. h20

I had this happen with one of my breeds in my first grow. (Low Girl)

...the tops of the buds never really stopped making new buds and new
white hairs....leaving the hair-color as a bad indicator of when to harvest.

"Fox-Tailing" I believe I have seen this effect referred to as....

You have to use the state of the plant as a whole when deciding when to chop.
