Im high as fuck lol right now, but I think we mean the same thing.
I stay H.A.F.
Get the screen name now LOL?

I had two skunk grown as above. I had 8 tops like you see in my avatar from the one I pruned, and they were all within a few grams of each other. But the final total was like 5oz dry for one and just under 5oz for the other.

Oh, and one was WAY easier to manicure...

Anyway, there will always be larf. I prefer less. That's why I even pruned my clones up like I would a manifold. It just works. I would have probably taken a few more lower sprouts if they hadn't been flower-clones. I think they have the energy to support them - AND this is the last of my Northern Lights unless I buy more seeds.

Mystery has been royally solved LOL

Remember those helicopters you made in kindergarten with a strip of paper cut and folded opposite directions?

They finally grew out enough that I could see. The leaves were growing towards the opposite side. That was hiding/shading the top.

So I gently pulled them apart and everything's normal. IMG_0972.JPG
Not keeping that part anyway, but it's odd that it happened on 2 of the 3. I'm making a note because it'll probably be a while before I grow another batch. When the pistils start turning on the NL clones, I'm dropping 2 different fem (GDP and another SOG) seeds, 2 of your The Crown Jewel F2's and 2 of the 4th gear testers. Next round will be Florida Diesel and Bisons Breath.

Stoned and thinking - If at any point I lose some to males, I'll drop more seeds. As long as I can keep a separate flower room and veg room, I don't mind having plants at different stages in each as long as there's room. I think 4 is perfect, 6 might be with just 4-top manifolds. Right now I'm only guaranteed one female, with a probable one and possible two more - 3 only if my luck changes after 50+ years...

I had some issues with the bison breath throwing single petal leaves when I switched the lighting to 12/12 and the plants started to stretch. Just a heads up!

Turns out these weren't singles. It looked like it but the lower lobes were just hidden/tangled. I personally don't care what shape the leaves are if it keeps growing.

I have been wanting to try growing a 'duck-foot' strain. If they produce and smoke well, they would confuse the hell out of the authorities ;)

I HAVE SATIVA!!! :weed:bongsmilie:bigjoint:

This morning I sifted the trim and got a few grams of keif. I put some on top of a layer of ash still in the bowl, and I LOVE IT! Way different buzz FINALLY. Smacks you right in the face with cool tinglies ;) Anyway, since this isn't my real harvest, I said screw it and snipped off enough nugs for a few good cones and tossed them in the dehydrator. Never did that before with buds, but I am anxious to get a good taste.
IMG_0974.JPG I'm sure I'll get a good terp profile in a few hours - like throughout the house ;)

Bison Breath is a true "Duck foot"!

After trying out a quick-dried fatty from the Hulk, I now know that whenever I harvest it will be amazing. Now it's just about bulk, frost, and pretty for the rest of the plant.

I got 3 "kings" out of that little tub-o-nugs. I couldn't figure out a specific taste or smell, but both are good. The exhale does have a slight swimming pool taste, not that strong, but like a chemical taste. Nothing off-putting, but it's there. Some may go away as it dries naturally - maybe more chlorophyll than chlorine.

Makes sense since there was no flush for these - lesson learned. It matters. So the rest is done being fed. She got a fat dose of everything last time, so she should be good until harvest.

And there's no way I could smoke up the ounce I chopped before the rest is ready, so I think I can have patience. Maybe...

One thing I do have patience for is vegging. I now have 3 drastic changes for my seedlings planned. First feeding, new light, and topping for manifold.

They need the light now, so that is first. and with that will come the feeding. So far they have had 400ml of water in two separate 200ml feedings.

So Instead of giving them even a 50% first feeding, I am going to use more water and give them their first soaking. I think there are enough nutes still in the soil that they haven't been able to use yet, so the first pot-soak-&-dry will get those roots really moving.

So I am going to give each plant a gallon and a half of water, with about 25% on the nutes. With this system, the "nutes" are really microbe and beneficial bacteria heavy, so I don't want to short them too much. But they are in Happy Frog soil which is also packed with micro-goodies. I think 25% and a good soaking is the way to go, then give them their first tops-feed next time.
