Hey Daniels,

Aren't you supposed to be working on a Soco Eggnog Vanilla spice tincture that we can make $MM on the Beverly Hills crowd??

Back to work dude! :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

Hey all -- I linked this thread: http://boards.cannabis.com/concentrates/58414-definitive-green-dragon-cannabis-tincture.html at the top of the previous page, but it wasn't very obvious. It goes over in step-by-step detail the best way to make Green Dragon (cannabis tincture) with heat.

However, if you would prefer to use a more "traditional" method, simply dropping bud into alcohol is a perfectly valid way of making green dragon. It's significantly less potent (requires a dosage of ~1 shot as opposed to 1-3ml) and a much slower process (weeks vs 20 minutes) than using heat to reduce it to a tincture but it definitely does work. Grind the bud/stems/whatever up as finely as possible, add it to your alcohol (the higher the ABV, the better) and give the bottle a good shake every few days for a minimum of a couple weeks. Make sure you store it in a dark place. Another way to increase potency is to decarboxylate THCA into THC before adding the trees to the alcohol. Do this by putting the finely ground herb on a sheet of aluminum foil in the oven at ~325F for about 5 minutes.

Granted, I still definitely prefer tincture :). Not a huge fan of alcohol, so the less the better. Hopefully this helps.

dry as a bone. shriveled and dead. changing into the large planters was probably not the best idea I ran with. The smaller cups actually would have retained a better moisture level than the 1 gallon air pots I used. they dry out very fast when there is no substantial root system in there. My bad.

Update time folks, i guess I am close to perpetual with my moms and all, just need a few more clones!! i have been busy, then lazy lately but time off will come soon!! I have been running everything in the new flower box while I tune it. I am having problems getting my temps below the 85-87 range, but the temps dont seem to have hurt them much. I have kept them as low as I could to avoid temp issues, but I aint gonna waste the light, plus it always takes hours to get to steady temps so it would really be a waste to not use it.

So the girls are all good. the newest seedling was fed too much, but luckily seems to have handled it well. the clone hasnt showed roots yet, but she was only cloned 7 days ago. I pulled the top cup off this morning against my own plan and gave her a tug, and she held tight so I am sure there are roots. I covered her back up and will continue to monitor.

the lemon skunk is moving along. i gave it a 50% dose of nutes with its last feed and it seems to have responded well. i plan to do the same next time and push 'em a little.

this is a gifted seed which could be a super skunk, wonder woman, autoflower, or something else cant remember. i think its a reg seed, so I am def pulling for a female

View attachment 1338762View attachment 1338755

the reveg may not be going. I havent seen anything growing and the buds appear to be dieing. this is some GREAT smoke, so I really wanna keep it around. if it dies I am gonna grow out every bagseed I have looking for that strain again in female of course, maybe I will get lucky, or maybe I have already killed the other bagseed :wall:

The runt is no longer a runt. I need to take more clones soon before she gets to bushy. She got the same 50% dose the LS did and has loved it. She was needing it though, as you see from the yellow in the pics. i am about to transplant and start her back in the PC soon to veg on. i need to get more aggressive with the LST that is for sure

View attachment 1338761View attachment 1338752

the royal kush is doing great. the color is still very nice. she got a 50% dose as well, but I think she may not have been ready for it, i noticed a little orangish brown on some a leaves today but I think she will be ok. I am gonna transplant her and the "runt" into larger containers. dont know what I was thinking with these small containers for these bonsai moms, even being micro the watering is too much!!

thanks for visiting folks, glad to have ye' all :weed:

Hell yea, you got a crowd now. Funny how the runt made a break for it. They'll love the up-canning.

Gumball this looks awesome!

Hey you know me and temps. Based on what I've recently learned, is there a way to create a removable barrier at the base of the plants? Even a couple of pieces of cardbard painted white that have a slot cut in them for the stem to slide through that can sit on top of the pots. This does several things: 1) insulates the root ball and soil from the heat of the lamp; 2) gives you a better reflective surface for the underside of your plants; and 3) reduces the amount of cu" you actually need to cool. Nothing complicated, but enough to help keep your temps under control, or at least the air space that matters most. :)

Watcha think?

How old is that Lemon Skunk? She looks a lil stunted, what medium is that you have her growing in? Everything is lookin great, trained to perfection ;)

Sucks about the re veg, i think you need to leave more lower branches tho.

I am not sure how well that will work for me. i will have to see after I transplant. but right now I have them LST'ed so tight around the pots edge right now that I dont know if i could get anything on top of them like that. I will think about it more. i had a cage that the plants sat on so they were not right on top the bottom intake, and I lowered the plants last night to sit right on the vent. it seems temps dropped, but I have to monitor further to ensure thats the case.

looks good gumball, i like the bud on a stick pics, LoL.
thanks man, that was some good bud :D

lemon skunk is 3-4 weeks. i think you are right, but I just gave her a healthy feed and I have noticed an improvement in her since then. the medium is something I was doing as a test of my own. it is the main root ball in that coconut planter liner stuff, then perlite on the bottom, and perlite and vermiculite around the coconut on top.

yeah, i am a little upset about the reveg too. i had a bad feeling because she just didnt have much stem to her. she was only like 11 inches long when she was harvested. A lot of the vegatative growth was already gone at harvest and that probably played a large role in her not revegging. maybe I will get lucky and find a lone seed or two!!

thanks everyone for stopping in and taking an interest, have a great day everyone :)

hey people :blsmoke:well i transplanted the royal kush and RUNT today!! I watered them last night and they held together perfectly until the RK hit the duct tape on the edge :wall: a few digs deep and she popped out though!!!

they have a little more than twice the amount of soil they had before!!!

I included a picture of the lemon skunk, she looks a little better, huh SICC? I fed her well, and plan to do it again as she seems to like it. a party cup is a difficult container to grow in!!:joint:

sorry for the crappy pic's, all i had was my phone and i was having to be discreet!! i will get better pic's later!
